Overall goal: Learn how to get the most utility out of your man, squeeze every drop of usefulness and then get rid of him when that usefulness wanes.

Back then life was easy in some aspects, relationships for example. If you come out with a paper like this nowdays you will be marked as an opressor and a chauvinist pig because "women now are independent and strong". I know they (women) work more than 1950's but housewives are still being the majority and of course you can't now not even have this because if she gets upset well, you are screwed.

They'll only figure it out, when theyve used up the last Simp, when security in the streets is gone, when no one with a brain wants anything to do with any of them.

Well, it will be because we decided sanity was more valuable than unnecessary crap, and that they needed to understand what they had the hard way.

And as far as I'm concerned, Society doesn't need to continue, its obviously a failed experiment.

I just get and do what I can whilst society exists... its an opportunity to me to get better situated for no society.

Back to spuds and Vennison.... and happy to have them.

I think a lot of women are ready to be actually good homemakers if you can support them such that they don't have to work; it's just that the level of income for one man supporting a family used to be accessible to some majority of people (at least 50% if not 70-80%). Nowadays making enough to support a wife and kids means you're likely in the top 10-20% of earners (in the US at least).

Sometimes it seems the real problem is many middle class women in the 60s/70s and on had to (and still have to) work to make ends meet, and thus the division of labor at home becomes difficult since you have two parents tired and stressed from working.

I think the standards for women have dropped off a cliff; but most women I know have at least claimed that if they didn't have to work they would stay on top of cooking/cleaning/etc. Talk is cheap of course though.
