We have a very long way to go until MGTOW is accepted, kind of weird that some people at my job are gay and lesbian and spread this all over the place, but i chose to turn my back on marriage and LTR and am being judge for it.......and yes i been called gay because i stop chasing women....

They hate not having attention. My friends bring their lady friends with them we go out to bars. I’m not impolite to them, but I also don’t make an effort to talk to them. Apparently, they ask my friends regularly “does X hate me? He never talks to me?” They fear what they can’t have. When someone doesn’t acknowledge their presence it devalues their only asset which is their body. I pretty much have the reputation that I hate women amongst my friends which isn’t true. It is more of an indifference

There’re loads of reasons why MGTOW is usually branded as a hate group:

MGTOW often say harsh, but true statements about women, usually backed up by actual data.
MGTOW are not giving attention to women, either at their jobs or social activities. Plenty of women want and need attention.
MGTOW are keeping their resources to themselves, rather than spending on women. This is likely to generate a huge burden for each state and country.

-MGTOW are usually single, divorced or widowed, therefore a lot of MGTOWs are not procreating, which is affecting each country’s long term economy.

MGTOW are usually extremely strong willed; most have been through hell on earth (divorce rape, false rape accusations, lost most of their resources, etc.) therefore it’s extremely hard to change their minds.
MGTOW is not a movement; there’s no leader, no headquarter. Most men who identify themselves as MGTOW don’t even mention anything associated with this subreddit or other websites. As a result, MGTOW cannot be stopped or censored.

Initially, MGTOW were largely ignored and laughed at, usually being branded as a minor group of “poor bastards who can’t get a girl” or “poor guys who were hurt by someone”. But as MGTOW grows at almost exponential levels, women and SJW are now resorting mainly to shaming (MGTOW are selfish, misogynists pigs!), but other people are trying to convince MGTOW to come back to the plantation (not all women are like that, some of us are against feminism, etc.). It is abundantly clear some women are even afraid now, largely due to the technological advances found in the sex dolls and VR industries, which are likely to provide a life-like alternative to women sooner than later.

That’s probably the gist of it.

MGTOW is not advocating violence towards women, or taking their voting rights away, or pushing them away from the office. It's letting them have their cake and eat it to, just we aren't bringing them the cake nor feeding it to them.

MGTOW is simply telling men the nature of woman which is causing many of them to re-evaluate the worth they have put in the pursuit of pussy and marriage. It's at this point the fear comes in because the gig is suddenly up. All the cries of victimhood stop because if men actually followed what women wanted to its natural logical course they would largely go their own way to avoid power harassment, sexual harassment, man spreading, mansplaining, all those things women say oppress them and hold them back. If men actually did that women would be screwed because they wouldn't be screwed and they'd lose out of the benefits they get as a gender from free meals&drinks from 14 to 30 and even beyond, access to a man's income, far more freedom from accountability, getting help at home and in life from thirsty beta males, getting attention from men to stoke their egos, and so on.

If women actually got what they often verbally state "kill all men" they as species would be fucked as they don't have enough engineers, doctors, leaders, sewage workers, farmers, visionaries, etc... to keep society going. There would be a huge lopsided population of those who actually do things and those who largely have existed and thrive because of the attention men have given them.

There'd be little to no ideology to give them inspiration as most of feminist rhetoric is about the oppressive male. All the professional feminists would have nothing to rail about in a male-free society or in a society where a large number of men have gone their own way hence another reason MGTOW is a threat to them.

From your hottie who depends on the kindness of strangers to your raging feminist, they need men far far far more than men need women. They need them for resources but also for a livelihood of railing against men their whole professional career. Anita Sarkeesan (however you spell it) would never have gotten anywhere in the feminist ideal world of no men or female-empowered world.

tl;dr: MGTOW upsets the feeding trough of women who need men for their resources and for their professional careers as man-haters

I showed an outsider friend about MGTOW. He essentially said its because MGTOW "Goes against everything society expects from men", and I'd have to agree.

They expect men to bow down to women, take care of them, and every moment has to be shared with the woman. You always see on the news how they never try to make women look bad but they'll do anything to shame men and if men cry, then they are the ones that have to 'grow up'.

As to why the women think this subreddit is 'toxic' well, its true. It's toxic. But the truth hurts doesn't it? Most of the 'toxicity' is news stories of women doing something terrible, but because society wants to put women on a pedestal, we have to praise women all the time.

I can only talk about my own experience (37 years old) would say that there are phases of how they manage MGTOW but it really depends of how you are managing your life. If you are healthy, look good and happy or if you are sad or angry all the time.

Phase1 (He must be gay)

They think that you are just a closet gay and that you are not being honest about your sexual preferences because they never see you with a woman. If you SMV is too low they will even think that you are not able to date any women and that you are gay.

Phase 2 (He is dating someone....)

After some time you still alone, but you look better due to your excellent and peaceful life (lifting, good diet, good amount of money for yourself, you are happy enjoying your hobbies, you are really good at your work)... At this point they can't believe that you are happy "alone" and they start thinking that you are just being secretive about your relationship with a married woman or a younger woman.

Phase 3 (He never found the right one)

Years later all the women are at the end of their prime with almost teenager kids... no money for themselves and tired of their relationships. Living just for their kids and trying to endure life just to give their kids the best possible life.

They saw you as the possible "beta provider" that is successful financially and stable but never got married or had kids. They think that you are the perfect man to "fix" their lives but all that they want is someone to provide and maintain them and their children now that they are tired of their husbands.

If they want, mgtows need to make themselves financially independent. You don't need a lot but not having to work as a desperate atm for some skirt or some neurotic hairball makes it possible and a goal worth having.
