Freshman year I was 275 lbs with a horrible case of acne, now as a senior, I'm down to 160 lbs and have a clear face. I just started receiving female attention in the sense of getting approached, smiled at, and being asked if I was single. I'm trying to concentrate on getting into college and making money, plus the fact that I'm still working on my social skills has prevented me from looking for a relationship or anything physical.

The problem is that I find myself constantly looking for female validation and feeling tension around girls. For example if a girl who talked to me yesterday, doesn't speak to me the next day, I feel shitty. Small shit like that. I hate to play the victim card, but I feel like it has to do with growing up without a father figure, I feel like it's the cause of me being a wimp and being so needy. From what I've seen, common advice for this is to concentrate more on my body, more specifically lifting, so I'm going to start that soon. Any more advice would help.
