I prefer masking emotions and being silent. People only used my emotions as leverage

This.

I don't care how anyone feels.
I am more interested in what they think.

i was depressed for a while a couple years ago. i talked to my friends and family alot. there were alot of people in my life that had no reason to use my emotions as leverage that were willing to listen to my woes. i was a pity party mess for a while. i eventually grew a pair of balls and did what everyone had been telling me to do- break up with my gf for good and never speak to her again. getting away from her was the miracle cure for all my mental problems! i know not everyone will need help quite like i did so im not implying that one must talk to friends and family just that it worked for me

Not here on MGTOW! You tell me all your sweet sorrows and i'll listen with an open heart. Then i'll tell you how hilarious your fuckups are and toss back a beer with you. :)

That's appreciated. I'd say that it was all women and simps that did this. I didn't know neither could be trusted.

Don't confuse silence with thoughtlessness. What an amateur mistake!

Good,we need logic right now.Because when we follow feelings,we saw where it got us.

There is a lot to be said for Stoicism. Let females be run by emotions. We men are able to use data and a calm rational to come to our own conclusions.

Lmaoo.. what an interesting “science” you seem to be an expert on 😂
[–]ResidentTruck16 points17 points18 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Yeah, talk is cheap, though. Men need action. Emotion is fine and all, but unlike women, we don't get a sense of having addressed a problem just because we talked about it. For us to feel that we've done something about something, we have to actually do something.

LMAO You hit the nail on the head.
I know a girl who talks at tech conferences about Cybersecurity.
She hasn't even graduated with a Bachelor's yet and she's already talking, ON A STAGE, about Cybersecurity. I know for a fact she has done absolutely nothing to bolster the current security standards of computer systems through hardware or software, but she can talk for an hour about "why cybersecurity is great and everybody needs it yay".
I will pay money to fly out for a talk by Bruce Schneier, but a fucking undergraduate bitch who has not reached 4th Year Computer Science courses??? Clown World bruh. Clown. World.
I am done listening to women speak on science. I am done. I will not respect it. I will not trust it.

Men mask their emotions as a mating strategy. Emotional men are a turn-off to females, meaning they can’t get laid and procreate. Nothing dries up a pussy more than a man who shows emotion. Since I’m a mgtow man, I show whatever emotions I want, females be damned.

Fuck off, woman.

Strive to be a stoic. If you allow your emotions to control you it would be as if being dragged by wild horses.

The strongest men shout their emotions the loudest

The last one played with my emotions to the point where I was second guessing my memories of our times together.
Never again man. Never again. I will not mentally survive another person like that.
This ship is airtight.

Good for him. He's one of the few MGTOW Youtube content creators who are willing to introspect and take emotional risks with the audience. We do need to shrug off a lot of the tough, stoic indoctrination. Men sometimes uphold this as being a "real man," but it's there for a clear purpose -- to impress women (and scare away rivals for female affection). Once you stop trying to do what pleases women, you can drop some of the tough guy persona. I believe it's one reason men die earlier, and we'd do better to dump it. Not saying men shouldn't be strong and have an edge, just that denying and sitting on your feelings with no one to talk to is a recipe for lots of physiological stress and isolation.

Women were taught to embrace and read and manipulate and use emotions before they were taught to embrace, read, manipulate and use the physical world so its all they know. Men learned to fucking measure and do shit FIRST. We just ended up not being so god damn emotional, it's not that we're always hiding it. That's true sometimes and that's because we learned to measure FIRST. So we measured ourselves and our emotions before just letting them loose on the fucking land like napalm.

I'll stay MGTOW as long as a woman proves MGTOW wrong...

Wrongly taught...
Nope. Women will use everything against you. They don't know the meaning of confidence, dignity, and faithfulness. Every emotion, every secret given to her is a dagger that will sooner or later be found in your back. Feminists blame "toxic masculinity", but our stoicism is a survival tactic against such inevitable betrayal. From women. AWALT. Every single one of them will betray such a secret as your "feelings" when it profits them the most. Give them nothing, and they have nothing to betray you with.

I think it’s more, males that were never taught to put childish things aside and take responsibility for themselves. All I see are soyboys and cucks who are nothing but projection and emotions.
Being stoic isn’t about suppressing emotions, it’s about recognising which ones are beneficial, like being pleased that you accomplished a difficult task (happiness), and which ones are not, like ecstatically screeching about the new Pokemon game (also happiness).
Men solve problems by solving problems. Talking about the problem doesn’t solve the problem. Constantly being lectured about not talking about the problem being a bad thing, doesn’t solve the problem.
Solving the problem solves the problem. Men aren’t taught how to solve problems anymore. We don’t need the solution given to us, we need the methods for addressing any potential problem. This is why men suffer distress at not being able to solve their problems.
