Women love their man, the way men love that one specialized tool that's old and rusty. You kind of hate it, but you keep it around because it fulfills some specific functions that the other tools can't fulfill.

Sometimes it does a job that was just impossible without it, and for a moment, you think you love it again. But before long, it's back in the drawer and you're using your new shiny tools.

You don't really care about it. But you're still going to keep it under lock and key, to make sure it doesn't reach it's potential of use, and to make sure someone else doesn't get any joy out of it.

What kind of tools are we talking about? Because a motorcycle is, in some sense, a tool to get you from Point A to Point B. But my bike a whole lot more special to me than my screw gun.
