This is a truth that I feel is underappreciated here.

MGTOW is not for everybody. Some people would rather remain in the Blue Pill stage.

There are MGTOW out there, but most people are like Cypher, and would happily sell their souls for a comfy existence in the matrix. Of course, it almost never works out well, but that's a different story.

Loneliness isnt real, the only reason why guys feel lonely is because they are brainwashed. The only thing that we all feel about women is not that we need them but that we want to fuck them so badly, and the desire goes away little by little with age. I only felt lonely right after finishing high school in 2015 when everyone went their separate ways, and then it took me only a few months to get used to it, now I thrive alone but sometimes I get extremely horny and start having blue pilled thoughts, then I jerk off and the thoughts go away, sometimes they consume me for a week even if I jerk off a lot, its really hard to resist them. Guys dont really feel lonely, they feel thirsty, and that thirst can be controlled, but when you live in a society that shames you for being alone and tells you that there is more to life than solitude, then you start to believe the lies, that is when they finally trap you into the plantation. That is what happened to me in 2015 after watching tons of teen movies and romantic comedies, I was lied to about everything and then in 2016, mgtow revealed to me the truth and that is when I managed to find my old self and free myself from what society was doing to me.

People always try to feel superior after they've learned from mistakes and expect everyone else to learn the same lessons right away. The best teachers have the patience to understand that they were once students, and not everything was learned so quickly. It takes a lot of time for most men to go MGTOW, so you're right. While everyone has the right to be cynical, at least online, they should understand that these men are going through what we did. We just decided to break away first.

But it doesn't take much to know that having a female won't cure your loneliness, especially after dating a few. Doesn't even take marriage to realize this. There are also hookers, prostitutes, escorts to help with this.

But yea, it sucks. Perhaps no one is meant to be happy.

I mean, not to be cruel even though I am, but how does that make him not a simp? Obviously he had his reasons, he wouldn't have done any of it if he didn't have a reason, and it's probably usually loneliness. He can be a great guy and a simp, most are, that's what makes them simps. If you asked why someone is fat and they say they're always hungry, it doesn't make them not fat.

A lot, if not most of us were blue-pilled at one point. I do not think blue-pilled men are necessarily dumb or less-- they're misinformed.

But I do take issue with mgtow meaning you have to be alone-- I surely do not feel alone, because I spend time with friends & family~

It’s a bit like the buddest story about gold coins raining from heaven. The question is if it rained gold coins would you be happy? Now imagine it rained gold coins, all of your material wants are sated are you happy. What I have found in life is that all the things I ever wanted fancy car large house with spacious grounds model girlfriend prestigious job they all had as many downsides as upsides. You go out for a day out with girlfriend in fancy car, difficult to find some where to park, come back and find either someone has scratched it or tried to break in etc.

Now to loneliness I have often been lonely in long term relationships and marriage. Currently I live alone and with mgtow I finally understand what’s going on. I work part time and I enjoy myself. I have no one nagging me I get up when I want I spend time on looking after myself I work out and I socialise with friends. I am mid fifties. My married friends are working 50-60 hours a week, on free time they are doing chores for wife or children, they are tired worn out and miserable.

That's why/how one learn from others. Your dad may not have options and validation then, but you have that now. Learn from his mistakes, and learn from what he was good at. Inculcate the good into your life and make sure you don't repeat the mistakes.

That's how one grows, that's how nature intended it to be. Make sure you hug him and let him know that he did good by you.

Yes, I agree with you. The loneliness can be a killer sometimes. There are more distractions if you need one now: radio, TV, internet. But, back in the day, you just had radio and TV. There is also something to be said for human interaction.

Props to your dad for being honest, but his mistake was seeking happiness in somebody else. You have to be comfortable with yourself so that you can be alone. Happiness starts from within. He's paid a high price for not understanding where to find happiness.

Hopefully you've learned from his mistakes. Sounds like a good dude.

People who are driven to make A LOT of money usually do so out of a need to perform or prove themselves. Not talking about decent living but millions and millions? That's a symptom of some other deep lack if you ask me. (Obviously, you can be fully whole and make real money, but if you do a thorough examination of people in very high paying fields they often report feelings of lack as drivers). Your father probably needed to be genuinely cared for more than others.. and he paid an equally heavy price for it.

Well, don't get married gents. You can always be with other people, even women if you rather be in hell than alone, but at least don't sign the contract.
