USA is jacked for sure. I looked into a lot of the wars and it's amazing how much the people were lied to and manipulated into the war. The USA was not the good guy in a lot of the wars. They even waited years and years and years to get into WWII. The real reason was because they were selling armaments to Europe and Europe was paying for in gold. By the time the US got in on the war they had 2/3 of the worlds gold and there was probably not much left to acquire. The USA also started the war with Japan. The president had taken a Japanese island and built a landing strip on it. Japan went to the UN (or was it league of nations back then?). The US backed off a bit. But then went back and took the island again and built a much bigger landing strip. They said it was for Amelia Earhart. It's believed it was really to spy on the Japanese and that actually Amelia Earhart was used as a spy (they even used popular actors and singers to spy back then). She was actually captured by the Japanese (there is a lot of proof on that). The President threw her under the bus though and disowned her. They eventually killed her and the co pilot. Anyway, taking the island was an act of war. And that's why they bombed Islands of the USA (pearl Harbor).

About every war is filled with lies and ulterior motives like that. They use the papers and media to get the public's support. A lot of it is for money or oil. The dollar is tied to oil. Did you know that nobody can buy oil except with US dollars? Nobody on earth. That is changing more and more though now. But that is one of the big beefs with Russia and some others, they don't want to sell or buy their oil in US dollars. Pretty much every single thing done in the government is tied to someone making money or someone getting a payout. It's nuts.

The whole world is jacked though. Literally everything is in some way corrupted by money and motivated by money. The entire world is owned and controlled by the banks. The banks own and control every country in the world. The governments don't do a thing without the banks controlling the action and pulling their strings. The same banks that control one country are owned by the same elite bankers that control another country. They control all the countries and have no loyalty to either country because they basically own all the countries in the world except a few. Coincidentally those few countries are the same ones we always go to war with, take over, and install central banks in.

All we can do is find a corner. Do things we enjoy and make us happy. Don't be greedy and live a simple life, live out of debt and you'll be way ahead of the rest. Their system and control relies on debt and keeping people slaves to debt. We can beat them and not support them by having no debt. All money is created by debt. Not having debt dries up their power and frees us to pursue our own happiness. Don't play their game of greed, debt slaves, and materialism. Ironically we can become rich doing this.

For a while America was great. Think the late days of the colonies and the early days of the United States. Americans were on average the tallest, healthiest, wealthiest people in the world for a number of decades.

Now everything is fucked. There's poison in our air, soil, food and water; some of which is deliberately added. Cancer rates, autism rates, and mental illness rates are rising. People pay for toxic industrial waste to be added to their drinking water because they are told by aluminum manufacturers that it helps prevent cavities. All of the plastics we use to store foodstuffs leech endocrine disrupting chemicals into what we eat gradually emasculating us over time. Masculinity is being chemically destroyed.

I would like to MAGA but in order to really do that we would some actual environmental safety, water safety, and food safety regulations. I hate the government as much as anyone but the general populace is too fucking ignorant and/or poor to "vote with their dollar" to give incentive to businesses to stop poisoning the world.

Cool story bro. I can't speak for the rest of the world but I have visited Italy 11 times and I lived there for 5 months. There is no social structure without jobs and work and money. My family comes from Sicily and it is a horrible situation when you graduate college and you cannot find a job.

The reason America is the way that it is is because of democratic liberals breaking apart the family structure. In the black communities you see its worst effects.

When you visit other places it's nice to say that their culture is so cool because XY and z or whatever reason that you think their culture is better than America.... but Sicily is also run by the mafia. I lived there long enough to realize it affects everything.

When you visit you have a propensity to say how cool the place is and how great the people are and how it's so cool that they kiss each other on both cheeks.

You don't have to earn too much to live a good life in America, you could just live in an RV for 600 dollars per month and travel, hike, sightsee all you want. No country is perfect and I accept this about America. I know every war from the Revolution to the GWOT has had a hidden agenda. I know the corporations do some good and a lot of bad. I know the liberal minded people are tearing society apart.

But you know what? For 10 years I was traveling to 3rd world shit holes where they have rivers of shit flowing out of their houses into the street. The air always smelled like shit. It was hot and humid and there was no A/C.

When I got back from my last trip I promised myself I would never leave the USA because our air smells good, we have toilets, and our streets are paved and have curbs. So while I, and I emphasize "I", know I have it really damn good here because I know how to make a buck, I know other people don't.

I would encourage you to leave this country and take any friends with similar opinions with you. I'm not saying this with animosity but with sincerity because it sounds like you aren't doing so well in the US of A.

I have thoughts on this for sure, but what strikes me most about this conversation is how strangely narrow it is and the degree to which no one can put their finger on the real issues. I'm not saying that I understand the issues, but it seems that people can point to symptoms, but not the underlying structures creating them.

I'm thinking that this branches from two main structures: fish can't really see or understand water, and political discourse in the US has herded into a narrow canyon. It's difficult to see the political/economic structure because you're immersed in it and have a stake, and it's very difficult to wander away from approved discussions.

I'd argue that the US isn't really tops in anything other than the scale of it's bungled military interventions. As Trump has shown, a lot of people are very unhappy.

American culture is literally consumerism. Football and hamburgers and getting the best deals at Wal Mart. I've lived here my entire life and never was amused by our culture. I grew up in SoCal where most of my friends were Mexican American. I've always thought "Man, Spanish culture is so beautiful." Their culture is vibrant, spicy, so family oriented and welcoming, and then I went home to my white family eating hamburgers watching football not really saying much to each other and was super disappointed with them.

This just seems like you got burned by the system and are still bitter about it. I understand that you're angry, but putting the blame on "The Man" using criticisms of consumerism without nuance really won't help your situation.

It just seems like you have an external locus of control and just want to be mad. This country has culture for those who look for it, it'll just require effort on your part. Music and art scenes are a good place to look.

Just don't get mad, it'll make you more miserable. And the thing I see with a lot of MGTOWs is that they're just bitter guys who got burned by gold diggers, rather than a guy who lives his life dependent on no one.
