The Mgtow foundation is built upon a disliking of female nature, there will always be a negative side to mgtow because it was created through men's frustration with women. Therefore hate fuelled posts are just part of the coping method. Some men will come here to express their frustrations and anger while others will seek help. The fact that mgtow has grown so much since it first started is proof that there is something wrong with modern female behaviour. Mgtow is a blessing for men who've had enough of women's games, dramas and infidelities. If this sub served you at one time you shouldn't knock it just because you feel like you no longer need the support given here. If you've gotten over your issues with women then thats good, but not everyone has.

Mgtow wasn't founded upon hatred of women inherently. Its hatred of the double standards that feminism has brought about in courts,family structure, and their general "if i say it, its holy, if you say it, its abuse" attitude. Its basically a search for true happiness based on the search of true equality.

OP, you may want to contribute in a constructive way. There are new men going their own way. While, i agree there are some posts that is hating women, you have to understand that you probably went through it before as well. Have a little empathy.

My problem with this sub is that I encounter so much women hate and women bashing which doesn't seem very productive to me, nor does it contribute to my goals of being a better and stronger man for myself.

That's because it isn't productive or helpful to you. But it helps some men get a grip on their feelings. It gives them the tools they need to start healing and start learning.

Bear in mind, that some of what you're seeing here is playful. It's a joke, and like all good jokes, it is based, at least to a certain extent, on reality. I don't see any of this as women bashing, but jokes. Jokes to help others cope and a hint of red pill to remind up what's out there waiting for us.

If this isn't for you then you're free to leave.

If you constantly ridicule and make fun of women, then you're only directing your attention to them (which is what they want even if it's negative) when you should be directing your focus on yourself.

It's for our benefit. Let's say I had a real issue with weight, and I really wanted to eat cake and sweets all the time. I joined a subreddit where people make fun of fat people and the crap they eat - their eating patterns etc.

Now do I give a fuck if the fat people have my attention or not? No. That isn't the point. I do this for me and people like me.

I don't care if women love the attention or hate it.

And yeah, men should focus the attention on themselves - but that might be exactly what they are doing. This is a form of healing and good dose of red pills.

MGTOW will turn into what MGTOW claims to "hate" which is 3rd wave feminism. I just finished reading a few of the comments and its similar to what 3rd wave feminism people do to their own if they claim the movement is doing harm. MGTOW sub members are attacking the OP for even making the post, there is little discussion.

The OP is right, if you come to MGTOW and start attacking women while holding the MGTOW flag, you're causing damage to MGTOW and mens rights going forward. Why do I say that? Women are starting to see that 3rd wave feminism is doing more harm than good, well that is what MGTOW is turning into, 3rd wave MGTOW.

Men have to be better, they have to be logical and smart about this, if you get emotional and see this movement as a way to attack women you will not win people over, you might feel better for a moment but no one will listen to you. You can point out the issues in a respectful way which people will listen and thats what how men will get respected in society.

I agree that focus should be shifted to one's self but to get to that point, many subscribers need to vent their frustration because, let's be honest, the realisation is tough to accept.

This sub is pretty unnecessary if you're past the point of caring and reached that acceptance because it can become a sort of purgatory. So if you unsubscribe so be it, don't really see the point of making a post about it though..

Your opinion is as valid as anyone else's and you may even have a point here. Fact is: Everybody can have access to your post history and I got to tell you, it doesn't look that good in terms of credibility.

If you were a regular contributor, with solid posts or even comments about the mgtow lifestyle/philosophy, your departure from the sub could eventually have a negative impact. Any interest in modding a spin-off sub that focuses on MGTOW with a strict rule about no hating on and moaning about women?

I'm down to do it if anyone else will go in with me. I'm in Cambodia, so I'm guessing I can cover the time of day most other people are asleep.

I am hesitant because I think this sub, like the /r/incel subs and others, tends to draw in some with varieties of mental illness and an ax to grind with everyone who's wronged them. But my hope is that if we're strict about it being a place for "positive MGTOW" (sounds a bit too straight-edge-ish but hopefully gets the idea across), we can avoid this.

It seems likely someone has already started something like this, too.

Same reason why I don't often visit this sub anymore. It's mainly an anger phase containment zone, but once you're out of that, there is not much to talk about anymore anyway right?

You either avoid women entirely and follow whatever interests you have or you browse TRP and PUA places while riding the decline or you browse hooker related forums if you still need to get your nut off with women but don't want to game / don't think you can compete in the top heavy environment.
