One of the reasons I cancelled my Netflix account was because of the lack of German and French subtitles. Funnily enough, they did have Arabic. I live in northern Europe so this was kinda amusing and the last straw. The straw that broke the camels back, if you will. Oh, so progressive.

I feel like spotify let me down the same way.

One of the self confidence tracks on Spotify had a song by Sza and Calvin Harris about how she satisfies some guy by serving as his side chick on the weekends while he goes back to his girlfriend on the weekdays.

Holy shit I watched that youtube video and it just confirms my thoughts as of late. Everything in Hollywood, NO, ANY modern human representation whether it's a movie, an ad for coffee, or an ad for physical activity etc it's almost always a female of color. You'll notice it too - almost everything nowadays is represented by a woman of color. When I actually do see a clean cut (not goofy) looking white man in any commercial or show I am genuinely surprised now.

Same. Doesn’t have good good shows anymore. The fact that most of good series I see are in others services forces me to pirate them. I will not pay 100 euros so see all of them. If they want my money change de subscription system so I pay only the series I want. I will not pay for a service that only makes a good serie a year and waste all my money on useless documentaries and stupid shows or series made only to please the pc public.

It's funny that you mention this because just today, I was looking at some of the free channels on my Roku device. When I first got my Roku device, about four years ago, I added all kinds of free channels -- just lots of stuff that looked fun, like "Wow, I never thought I'd see a whole TV channel like this or that."

I'm wondering if Roku was at its peak at that time. I remember finding a completely free documentary channel -- I used to find all kinds of interesting, memorable documentaries to watch, whenever I was looking to relax for a couple of hours.

There were other lesser-known channels too, that were fun to watch. You could stumble on some program that hardly anyone has heard of, and it would be interesting.

Anyway, this evening, I checked a bunch of the random Roku channels, and so many of them are no longer in service. I don't know if these channels just tend not to last very long, or if people are moving to alternatives other than having their own Roku channel.

I think that it's too bad if the smaller, independent channels are going away, because some of them were really fun and were a big part of having a Roku device.

Pay for it for a few months in Winter, get caught up an any movies or series that catch your eye. Cancel it in the Spring. Repeat it a year or two later.

I ditched Netflix and cable a couple of years ago. I just download for free all the Netflix/TV Shows/Movies. I am tired of supporting their leftist bullshit with my money, so fuck them.

I use Netflix for free. My cousin gave me his password. I might repay him back by buying DisneyPlus when it comes out, assuming they have good Marvel/Star Wars/20th Century Fox content.

I don't have time to watch TV. I get my news in about ten seconds per day online. These days, all I want from the news is whether or not the muslims have blown anything up lately, so I can plan my travels accordingly. Too busy making money so I can retire on time, get out of town, unplug and have real life fun. I think the last time I binged on videos (Clint Eastwood and other MGTOW titles) was five years ago when I had the Hershey squirts and was stuck at home sick.
