It's more amazing since there is no cooking easier than crock-pot: Season and sear the meat, add veggies, add water, cover and turn on. Prep is maybe 20 minutes, if that, and that includes cleanup (one pan). Hell, if you're lazy, you don't even necessarily have to sear the meat.

lol That's pretty funny. Wonder if she actually knew what it was, but already had her mind made up as to what type of person you were and that was her trigger word.

My mom (and SOOOO many other women I have met) has a horrible tendency to go into conversations with her mind completely made up, to the point she basically isn't even listening to what you were saying.

She may have had the message in her head that you did drugs or some nonsense and when you used those words she immediately thought "I KNEW IT!!"

Put a rack of dry seasoned pork ribs in a crock-pot with veggie broth for 2 hours then brush them with your favorite sause (I suggest Stubbs spicey bbq) and finally cook them on a grill, low fire, for 20 minutes.
