Relationships, kisses, sex, it's all pointless to be concerned over. People make such a huge deal out of the act of pressing body parts together, and what's worse is they think you're weird if you don't see it as anything more than that. They think "he only doesn't value sex because he hasn't fucked a dozen women!"

It's good that you are trying not to get hung up on rejection. There's nothing 'too odd' about you, women are just hypergamous AS HELL. I know guys who spent years working their asses off, improving themselves both financially and physically, trying like hell to get a relationship going.

One of them went from a kind of short heavy guy to a wall of muscle and testosterone, and he still had to fight for years to get even one girl to go out with him. It didn't matter that he was very smart, very energetic and funny, muscular and powerful, and able to get a smile out of anybody around him, women rejected him anyway. Why? Because they could. That's all there is to it. Women often reject men for no better reason than "He's good... but I can still do better."

Do you value their opinion? Do you want the affection of someone who only gives it to you as long as you don't deviate from the path they want you to be on? It's like caring about what an ADHD squirrel thinks of you.

Good to focus on yourself. But you're young and in the desert years. 18-21 sucks!!! Chicks your age are dating guys who can "afford" them.

Here's the trick. Date cougars. 28-35 yr olds that just hit the wall. They won't be the hottest women but hot enough. They're not looking for a "relationship" with you. They'll pay for most dates. They like to fuck and take birth control. They don't want anymore kids! Being an every other weekend boy toy is fun. (Because that's when the dad has visitation.) Pay attention to how they bitch about their ex and remember that they LOVED that guy once! It will open your eyes and you will learn the game.

Once you finish college or have your career going you can circle back and fuck all the 22 yr olds you can handle.

There’s a podcast series called “The Mating Game” by Tucker Max (but don’t let that put you off).

It’s quite long but may be worth a listen to for you.

As others have said - before deciding to quit the game, you should be able to play it (at least a bit).

Now that can be very difficult for some people because figuring out the rules for yourself is hard, it’s generally in women’s interests to not let you know (gives them an edge - imagine if every man was a great player) and also it can be in a man’s interest to not tell you either (less competition).

The podcast above is aimed at men and tries to dissect from many perspectives male/female relations and explain the mechanics of them to make the listener better with women.

For people who have a difficult time figuring out women, it’s got a lot of good information in there + a lot of it is generally applicable to life and how to improve yourself generally, so inline with GYOW goals.
