Women and men generally see sex differently. Most men want the act of fucking a pussy, that's what's fun for them. Women want connection and intimacy. This is not universal, of course, because people are different, but this is generally a difference between the sexes.

So women might want to "make love" but the men they hook up with just want to fuck and move on. It's not surprising that this leaves women feeling unfulfilled and lonely. The men do still pick a long term partner, but they use criteria picking that woman that are much higher than the low criteria that makes a woman fuckable.

Congrats, feminism! Women now get what men want instead of what women want!
