Can we talk about the future for a minute?
Here's the obvious problem I see on the horizon. Nothing in this prediction relies on anything more than the logical extrapolation of trends that are already currently in motion:
-men will make up less of the workforce, going forward. Trump was right, the unemployment rate really doesn't matter, since it doesn't count people who have given up looking for a job. Most of the people who "dropped out" of the work-force (that is, gave up) are men. There is a good reason for this.
-140 college degrees were awarded to women, for every 100 awarded to men, and this statistic shows no signs of slowing down, but rather, shows every indication of getting worse as time goes on.
-Two years ago, in 2015, women controlled the majority of America's wealth for the first time in history. Women's share of wealth will only increase, as time goes on.
-53% of the votes cast in the last election were cast by women. Women vote in higher rates than their numbers, and men vote in lower rates. Men didn't make Trump President, white women did. It doesn't matter what the gender of the elected representative is, if he or she wants to stay in power, they have to bow down to two groups: the voters, and the donors. More educated and wealthier people vote in higher numbers than less educated, poorer people. Women have more education, and control the majority of the nation's wealth, its no coincidence they vote more often, and, as time goes on, they will also make up more of the donor class.
Prediction: within the next ten years, the GOP will completely embrace the welfare state, and expansion thereof will become a point of bi-partisan consensus. This will be required in order to compete for votes, due to the rising financial and voting power of women, who prefer an expanded welfare state.
We know that, today, men pay taxes into the system and women get those benefits out of the system. The welfare state is, essentially, a means to redistribute money from men to women. However, men are finding themselves with less and less money, less educational opportunities and more and more of them are dropping out of the workforce. This is sustainable up to a point, and deficit spending boosted by historically cheap interest rates makes this sustainable, for now. However, if women, even when they control a greater share of the nation's wealth than men do, are still consuming more in the form of government services then they contribute to the system, there must come a point where that system collapses under its own weight. The simple truth is that the only way to keep the system afloat is for men to greatly over-produce and provide the resources to keep the system afloat. However, the money in men's pockets is growing smaller by the day, and the old saying about squeezing water from a stone is apt.
So long as the masculine ethic, the ethic that built all of civilization is encouraged and actively rewarded, men will happily over-produce for the sake of a society whose future they have a stake in. However, when the masculine ethic is no longer rewarded, and even punished, men will not over-produce any longer, since there is no longer a reason to. That is the basis of mgtow: the inflection point between where embracing the masculine ethic and over-producing makes sense, versus where it does not. A healthy society, that rewards and reveres male over-production is a society that has no need of mgtow.
The future is bleak, because all of these trends that will serve to undo society show no signs of reversing, and we badly need them to reverse. There is, I think, only one real upside, as the old meme goes:
-difficult times produce strong men
-strong men create good times
-good times create weak men
-weak men create difficult times
We're in the third leg right now, headed towards the fourth leg. Perhaps something dramatic changes and a way is found to change the fundamental resource equation and avoid a collapse, but I doubt it. Get ready for the era of weak men creating difficult times, my friends.

No mention of AI? That's the real change of great magnitude on the horizon. Automation and robots are advancing at an ever increasing rate.
The Protestant work ethic so pervasive in society is going to backfire, unless people start having a conversation about how to handle the fact vast swaves of people are going to be rendered obsolete in the workforce.
Everyone can't be a programmer, robot technician, Youtuber and there's only so many micro-businesses selling trinkets and junk 'needed' - a market 3d printers will become prevalent in.
Add that to the mix of your analysis and we have potential for a time of real ugliness around the corner, most aren't ready to confront it.
There's also global population and demographic changes to consider.

universal basic income
I know it sounds like "socialism" but hear me out. More and more people are being displaced from traditional occupations of the past by automation (and globalization to a lesser extent). Agriculture, manufacturing, soon all shit service industry jobs too.
So what will women do? Work. Work a lot. They are the ones who historically forced their husbands to work long hours to pay for larger and larger homes, fancier cars, more children. They will still want these things a century after most men MGTOW out. What will we do? Simple. Literally, simple. We will find smaller apartments or houses, cheaper transportation, clothing, food, etc. Meanwhile women will chase conspicuous consumption until they die behind their corporate desks. They are socially defined creatures who must display status. We are not. A cabin and a pan of home fries, maybe a harmonica (or an XBox) is literally all we need.
We won't have to earn much. But do you still want to mop floors for shit wages until you're old AF? No, just a modest basic income. Yep, paid for by taxes into an interest earning trust that sends you a small check every month. Who pays? Women, of course. They're the ones still working sixty hours a week after we start to ramp down our lifestyles. They earn the high corporate incomes with their fancy deegrees that they never shut up about, they must pay the big taxes, just as men did for centuries.
