Please note that EA and every other stock is falling due to rising interest rates, so you can't use the decline as evidence of their shittiness.
It'll take too long to fully explain, but equity is valued as a risk free rate plus a risk premium. Think of it like this. If government bonds paid 10% interest and there was no inflation, nobody on earth would buy a stock with a 5% yield. If bonds yield 1%, then getting 5% on a stock is perfectly reasonable. As bond yields go up, the attractiveness of stocks goes down until the yield on the stock is higher (the purchase price is lower).

Passionate people and small businesses create exciting beloved product -> Product becomes successful
The now successful product has more appeal and needs more hands on deck -> business hires skilled business people who are talented but unfamiliar with products success and fan base
New product is crafted by people who understand general industry trends and good business practices but have little understanding of what made the core product attract it's fans in the first place .
It's a cycle, it's what makes studios like CD project red so precious and surprising they continue to retain and reward there fans for having faith in them and as fans we continue to appreciate and support their understanding of what we want in a game.

EA made a WW2 shooter game in Battle Field. Trailer comes out and shows a normal European WW2 setting when suddenly you're a woman with a prosthetic arm in the front-lines fighting those ebil Republican Nazi's. Here's a pic, couldn't find a better one
Devs said they were aiming for historical accuracy, people called them out on it and they called everyone incels and misogynist and that they're not going for historical accuracy (flip flop). CEO comes out and says if you don't like it, don't buy it. People don't buy it, one of the worst selling BF's to date, CEO resigns. Game is already half off price and it hasn't even been out for more than 3 weeks, EA and DICE DOUBLE DOWN instead.
Tell bigots not to buy their games, then complain that bigots aren't buying their game. It's unfortunate that EA owns the FIFA and Madden licenses to make games, otherwise they would have gone bankrupt from this.

Their next issue is that its not much different. Even black ops 4 is more different. And that game comes out every year! Going from WW1 to WW2 won't give much of a different playing experience.
