I've seen what happens when gov't tries to force more women and minorities into firefighting. They hire less qualified candidates who are worse at the job. They have to cut physical requirements for women, and test requirements for minorities. And deliberately not hire more fit, higher scoring white dudes. It's absurd, how can you ask people to go into a burning building with a team that isn't the best possible?

The one thing about the firefighting profession that I find amusing when it comes to quota hiring: you can't gender norm the equipment. All the diversity quotas and lawsuits will not make the jackets weigh less, the o2 tank weigh less, the ladder to weigh less, the hose pressure less, the distance you have to clime to be less...

I really don't see any women running into a burning building loaded with gear and then carrying out people. In addition to being unable to carry the gear or the people who need rescuing, women are just pussies. Don't forget the fact that no matter what: women can never do this. Sans caring, women are physically incapable of competing. If you see women, it means the force is that much weaker now and that many more lives are in danger.
