I've been frequenting this sub for a few months now. In my opinion, this subreddit is dealing with an issue which stands in the way of actively helping out the men coming here.
First of all: the sub's intention is good. It's great to have a place where that nagging feeling in the back of your head is confirmed. You know, the feeling today's society is becoming more and more feminine, that the idea that men should just swallow whatever comes their way may not be healthy. So I'm glad that this sub exists.
For the newcomers, this sub is fantastic. You see a plethora of posts confirming what you thought and more posts showing why you just may have a valid point. Examples and stories of other men, danger stories etc - all good to get new guys to realize that women aren't the only thing in life.
There are also a lot of posts that show women acting crazy, going way too far and doing things that are just not acceptable. That's fine. The problem arises when half of the posts in this sub are about that.
That's my main issue with this sub: its focus is still very much on women. Whether you call it love, hate, desire to have or desire not to have - it's all focus. All those things still revolve around women. The opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference. The opposite of 'desiring to have' is not 'not desiring to have', since you still desire something - it's letting go.
Hating women is a good way to start victimizing yourself. Then you're no better than those ultra-feminists. You want to be free? Go your own way? Stop focusing on women. Don't desire to have them, fuck them - whatever. Also don't hate them, blame them. Just let it all go. Find your own way in life, just like what MGTOW stands for.
I went 'MGTOW', so to speak, because I discovered that women are not worth the hassle. There are other things out there for me. I no longer look at women the same way I used to. My focus is no longer on women, but on me. I have a few creative and active hobbies to which I devote all my time.
Re-focusing was the biggest change in my life I've ever done. My entire life was always about women, getting pussy, what would they think of me etc - you've all been there. I'm much more content now, less drama, less talking, less nagging. More peace.
There are almost no posts about how to deal with MGTOW issues. Loneliness, finances, friends, female invaders - there's so much we guys need to talk about, and most of you focus on hating & blaming. I feel your pain. I've been mistreated by women as well, I've craved for the pussy and I've wept over insignificant drama.
So, I don't blame you. I'm glad you feel something's wrong. But don't stay in that negative zone. There's so much shit to do, and once you start to focus on your own life, you'll notice you'll feel more serene and peaceful. It's a rough ride, though, so let's help each other out, like brothers.

I like this explanation.
Sure we could just talk about self fulfillment and the benefits of the mgtow life, but there's a sort of self fulfilling benefit to ranting about women. The thing to watch out for is that we don't create a female effigy to fight - if we do, then we'll be trapped in that game forever.
/u/RecQuery is right - if you dislike what you see, post more content that you do want to see

Watch this video from Paul Proteus where he explains freedom from and freedom to. MGTOW is excellent at giving dudes freedom from. Freedom to is left to the individual to figure out.
What you're describing, the hating and blaming etc, is guys being stuck in that zone between freedom from and freedom to.
Several youtubers have discussed the need to go beyond unplugging people to try to guide them once they reach the point where they feel like their sense of purpose has been taken away. I think we could do a better job but it's not easy since the advice needs to be tailored for each individual man.
If we were able to develop some kind of 'freedom to framework' through consensus it might go a long way to helping guys who are stuck.
Why don't you start by sharing how you transitioned, OP?

We don't try to "convert" men to MGTOW. MGTOW isn't a philosophy or religion.
Men have to learn the "true hypergamous nature of women" on their own, and often the painful way--by getting divorced raped.
Personally, I don't think that there is anything that we can do to convince a man to become MGTOW. He has to reach that conclusion on his own.
Regarding our "hatred" towards women, I think that is a natural reaction to the way that we have been treated by women in our lives and the legal and social environment which allows women to treat men like shit without any kind of punishment. For example, if a wife cheats on her husband, gives birth to another man's child, initiates divorce, and then demands child support (for a child that isn't his) and alimony, are you surprised that the man is pissed off?
