Just read the snowflakes' comments there. I do not believe for a second that they do not understand what's going on: they're just scared that the men like him are going to make it more socially-acceptable walking off the plantation and never looking back. And then they won't be getting any cash and prizes. Ever. That's what's this "shaming" is all about. The cupcakes understand it alright, it's just it's next to impossible to make someone understand something when their income depends on NOT understanding it. Ignore them, folks!

Who really can blame him? Too many men, particularly in a public-facing role such as actors or "celebrities", are falsely accused or at least otherwise innocuous things are made into mountains. It's just not worth it. He's rightfully afraid of being '#metooraped, the newest weapon in the female arsenal. If women can't handle that men are pulling back if not out, oh well.
