For real, I had a girl dump me years ago to go back to a guy who abused her. He said he had “changed” and that was the magical word that made her dump me and go back to him after talking to him for 4 hours. She told me recently that one of the reasons she left is because “I was too good to her and she didn’t feel like she deserved it”, after she broke up with him yet again because, guess what, he didn’t change.
