I remember one of my exes had a really old Honda from like 97 or something , it wasn't the best car in the world but it was reliable . she asked me about the check engine light , and as I came out to look at her car with her I saw her finishing pouring a mystery fluid into the gas tank .....

I asked her what the fluid was, she didn't know but she said "the car probably likes it " .

All I remember is it said something about the motor or the engine and she dumped a bottle of random fluid in her gas tank .

I was blown away at how oblivious she was to have done this . It's like giving someone cough medicine to help close the cut on their arm ..... . because " maybe they like cough medicine"

Must be nice in an LTR or marriage to know that hubby has to deal with anything practical like cars, plumbing , electrical, construction, and computers. Finding a "handy" guy is a great benefit.
