Epictetus and Aurelius are both great and much more serious but I'd suggest Diogenes as he still has the RP rage and might need Diogenes' humor to make him realize that we may be living 2000 years after them but not much has changed in terms of human nature.
I am only halfway through and the amount of times that I have let air out of my noise made it worth the 15$ price tag.
In short OP Diogenes was an intelligent smart-ass who gave ZERO fucks. He was just a fucker walking around in a robe "sometimes", doing stand-up for free.
