Dude. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make her drink. Men have no control anymore and society encourages everything they do.

Once women had the pill there was no stopping this since they can hide their sluttyness and infidelity more easily.

I don’t think the terms are well-defined.

how do we define leading vs. following, what is ‘the way,’ and where does reacting (‘act accordingly’) fit in within this proposed dichotomy?
if divorces are mainly initiated by women, how strong is the claim that men control the dating/relationship market?
if men ‘control’ dating or relationships, why do most men not-have children and most women do?
if there’s a market for onlyfans, are men leading or following the trend? why?

1) the woman is leading - she’s calling the shots 2) the man is following - he’s obeying 3) both are reacting - mutual response to each other, leading vs. following is meaningless 4) the man is leading - his actions determine what’s allowable in the relationship 5) the woman is reacting - she’s seeing what she can get away with based on his responses 6) the man is reacting - he’s doing what he needs to keep the relationship.

I have difficulty seeing the perspective on the woman is ‘following,’ but that’s the point of the cartoon. all the same, this would be a cartoon that’s critical of the post.

I don’t think you don’t have a point, but I don’t think the post is as accurate as it could be.

the post seems to be a form of arguing nature vs. nurture, and men fall into one bucket and women fall into the other - it argues that men’s behavior largely determines the environment but is not determined by it, and women’s behavior is largely determined by the environment and has no inherent nature.

I reject the framing as stated, and I think the post contradicts itself / the premises are unclearly defined.

I keep pointing out that most men are virgins. The 80 to 20 rule means that most men are Simps just from lack of experience. I don't want to hear any nonsense about how being a virgin doesn't matter, but I'll tell you what, it very much matters, because most of mgtow here is men coming from experience with women. It is the quality of the male consciousness that marks the upper limit of the quality of female consciousness in the mass.

The quality of his gaze will lift her or degrade her. The existing quality of her individual consciousness will make her an eager participant in either positive evolution or in devolving degradation.

What makes all this highly complex is that the beam of his consciousness is then used (perhaps unconsciously) by the female through reflection. She can weaken and emasculate an uncertain man by angling that gaze back into his fearful, broken regions. This is Lilith. Unfortunately a woman today has to be rather ugly/plain to escape the draw of that destructive archetype.

Alternatively, and there is zero room for this archetype in modern popular culture in the west, the woman can accept the light of his gaze and use it to build the quality of her consciousness. What light comes reflected back to him still points out his weak centers to him, but this time gently, as a true friend and lover would do. The key is that ambient light returns to make him aware. It is not a laser (whose vector pointing back to the mirror indicates deadly intent).

The fact that MGTOW has to exist as a mental shielding system in the modern world indicates how rare the latter situation is. I don't believe AWALT, but I'm also deeply suspicious of "perfection." I think the only unicorns are plain women, looked down on by their female peers. These plain women, if their hearts are pure, find peace in simple lives.
