If they will let you emigrate, go for it. You will need winter clothes (for the winters there, not all the time). Not to insult your home country and I may be wrong, but why question moving from a third world country to a first world country? It seems a no brainer.

Lol this question can't be answered without knowing where in Canada, urban centers will have more stuck up people. Outer areas and smaller communities will have more down to Earth types.

From what I read here, some of the worst divorce laws in the Western Hemisphere. Hell, even cohabitation is dangerous there. Be careful.
