I am being bullied at my job by a female. She is not well liked and is not good at her job and I strongly believe our immediate manager (also a woman) does not like her very much and has said statements to that regard when she wasn't around. The bullying takes the form of belittling me in front of others and trying to turn them on me because I strongly believe she is jealous of my performance, which is much better then hers.

I feel really fed up and just feel shit in general and I am considering my options. I thought about speaking to her but I strongly believe that her intentions are malicious and it will not work, worse yet, she may report me to manager first. Second option is to talk to manager and hope for the best. I know women stick together a lot but she has been a nuisance in the workplace and other team members complained about her behavior.

I am open to any other options. I am not great at standing up for myself as I do have social anxiety but I do my best. At times I have tried to fight back by highlighting her inadequacies in front of others but she is not backing down. I also can't leave this job for the time being. Thanks in advance.
