Not an argument you will win my friend. I got into a good ole reddit argument with some young dude who brought up he was about to have a kid with his girlfriend and how happy he was. I brought up how what he was telling me is he accidentally knocked up his girlfriend but has to smile about it. He denied it being a bad thing but nothing sounds more miserable to me than if one of the girls I slept with got pregnant.

One of my good college friends disappeared one day. We were convinced he was dead, hospitalized, or in jail. Eventually comes out he fled across the country after getting a tinder girl pregnant (she claimed she miscarried four days after he fled, hmm...) At the time I was baffled and now I wonder if I’d just go live down in Mexico

If they find some pleasure out of being a dad why try to snatch it away from them? Not like they can help it so let them at least try to be positive

It honestly is nuts how people will straight up tell you this shit to your face and we’re so brainwashed we laugh. Over the course of my twenties I’ve gone from PUA to red pill to MGTOW and it’s strange how much my perception has changed. It’s a progression of “how do I fuck all these women” to “how do I fuck all these women without them driving me crazy” to “that drove me crazy.”

Now people talk about how their kids destroyed something or how their SO is ghosting them and I wonder if people used to not talk about their personal lives so openly or if I was just blind. I’ve stopped talking about my personal life to people outside my guy friends because they don’t want to hear about a young, relatively happy bachelor. Women don’t like the idea of a man who doesn’t commit to women and every married man daydreams every once in a while about being completely free of responsibility. Nothing good comes of it

I do think I have a big benefit of having half-brothers young enough to be my kids if I fucked up as a teenager. I get to shape them and see them grow without paying for their life. Takes away a lot of the desire to have a kid
