There is very little benefit for a single mom to improve her standard of living. When she starts to make more money, the government benefits she receives, such as child care, food and rent assistance and other things. The money she makes can never cover the benefits she receives from the government. So, if she tries to improve her and her children's lives she can't. As soon as she starts making more money, her child care is taken away. To make sure she her children are taken care of, she has to quit her better paying job. It a catch 22, if she does better the government makes it harder to get ahead. If she does nothing, the government rewards her with more benefits.

They waste prime years on clubs, partying, Chads. This is what you get at the end of the day. Single mothers are even worse failures of society. Despite getting ton of child support and alimony their financial life never make any progress whereas the guy who is paying child support still manages to put himself on his feet.

The image in OP suggests that keeping a man around is beneficial for financial stability, while not keeping a man around results in poverty for yourself and your offspring.

Yet, at the same time, these same women are so insufferable, they aren't cable of making the man want to stay with them in the first place.

Women really are their own worst enemy.

The order should actually go 3, 2, 1. Here is why:

If you do not have a child, you have literally zero responsibility outside of yourself. That means you can focus on school, focus on getting and holding a job that may require you to have obscure hours.

When you pop out a fuckprize, then it gets complicated because you have obligations you cannot avoid. Single mothers often do not finish high school (30% of mothers who drop out of high school cite pregnancy as the reason). The ones who stay have their performance drastically affected due to their newfound responsibilities.

This dovetails into their employment prospects. Now, not only are they underqualified (when compared to their peers) they still have to manage having a child to take care of. While their peers are able to take jobs that might require them to travel, or work nights, or perform unexpected shifts the single mother cannot take them, and thus her ability to compete and earn are drastically diminished.

So the moral of the story? DONT HAVE FUCKING KIDS UNTIL YOU ARE MARRIED.

That 35% are not really living in poverty. They make more being in poverty on paper than they could make in a real job. Refer to the MGTOW posts of pictures where:

Shouldn't 'Take a college/university program in STEM or business/finance that leads to a career or study a trade' be up there too? I can't imagine getting a good paying job with a high school diploma alone.

Looks like there's a more recent version revised in 2018. The same general finding persists, though the numbers change a bit.

That said, and I don't disagree with the outcomes, but it's a bit of a weird presentation. Look at p. 3 of the doc I linked. It looks like the key rule is "keep a full time job" in terms of what probably accounts for most of the variance in who is poor vs not-poor. If you think about that rule, well, of course it explains most of the data: having a full-time job directly impacts your income!

It also looks like only about 2% of people break all three rules so sure, those numbers are technically correct, but that's also a very small proportion of people so it's a bit misleading to highlight that as if it were the main thing.

Again, I don't disagree with the facts. I can't, they're facts and I'm a man so facts are facts, haha. It's more that the facts are being presented here with a motive. I don't even disagree with the motive per se. I just don't like anything that's disingenuously presenting information, even if the information is technically correct and the motive is something I broadly agree with. I'd rather the nuance be retained (which is why I bothered to look up the source).
