I've typed some of this nonsense out:

Dan ..."Our counsellor said I should consider my working hours at work to be her working hours at home and anything that needs to be done outside of these hours is over time and we both need to do that together".

Constance [girl in the photo]: "hang on... So your counsellor said that it isn't fair for you to do 8 hours work a day and your wife to do 24? Mind. Blown."

These sentences are poorly written and hard to understand. But both the counsellor in question and Constance herself seem to be expressing a commonly held view amongst some women that being a stay-at-home mother is an extremely hard job. It is harder than any paid work around.

In fact, working an actual paid job is a holiday in comparison. Thus the husband who does his 8+ hour stretch and comes home and just relaxes is being a lazy, ungrateful bastard. He has no right to relax, because he hasn't actually done any real work yet.

Not until he's done some housework or helped out with his children can he claim the right to relax (and even then he's still only done a fraction of the work his wife does each day).

Being a stay at home mom is more boring than difficult. My mom went back to work as soon as we could take care of ourselves because she couldn't stand doing nothing all day.

8:24? what, so she doesnt fucking sleep? How much laundry, cleaning, cooking etc. takes 24 hours? And i bet she's not doing any maintenance, DIY, mowing the lawn etc.
