About 9 months ago I was listening to all things considered on NPR. The interviewer who I think was Audie Cornish was interviewing some Pacific Northwest possibly Washington State tribal native female musician. This so-called musician hated white men and did not want them as her fans or to come to her concerts, and despite this many came. To Audie Cornish's credit, the interviewer attempted to get the musician to see the double standard and the racism that the so-called musician was espousing. It is lost on people like that. White men are now the only group that it is acceptable to hate. It baffles me, because it's no different then any other form of racism that it lumps all members of a group into essentially one group of people.

In my experience native Americans are some of the worst people to love and be in love with racism. And that's not to say that all of them are racist, it's just that somefeel they have a license to be. I cannot imagine black musicians in the fifties and sixties telling Whites not to buy their records or to come to their shows. That would have been completely bizarre and a guaranteed recipe for failure. Today, it seems like wearing white hatred as a form of Honor is a type of virtue signaling.

I'm aware of the irony of my last statement, however I must point out that after living on a reservation for a year and working with native Americans for a further four years I experienced a form of reverse racism that was completely bizarre to me and unlike anything I have ever received from any other minority group. Essentially though, it is nothing more than victim culture and the desire to blame others for the situation they find themselves in, even when that situation is their own drug and alcohol abuse or their own dysfunctional culture.
