I can't advocate enough about how important it is for a boy to have his father around. Young men need someone to aspire to be. If pops not around to teach them manhood they resort to cartoons, musicians or hollywood scripted movies for a male role model. There's a difference between pushing out a baby and actually being a good parent.

Also, single mothers are only a thing because the court usually gives the primary care giver role to the mother. Many fathers fight this but they don't stand a hope in hell.
