There are four of their products that I've routinely consumed for years. No new purchases planned for these. Alternates are available for when the time comes to buy more of these types of products. P&G has been assigned 'quiet time'.

And yes, the market is also down 2%. Almost the same % as PG's stock has lost.

Maybe... you have to remember most of the inventory will have already been "sold" into the retail space or at least "stuffed the channel."
It may take another quarter or even a year before the "channel" -- and P&G's sales into it -- are backed up enough for the failure of retail sales to be revealed; and even then they might LIE about it (big corps have many ways of hiding/burying that shit in their accounting, sometimes for YEARS).
Add on that -- in the case of Gillette -- the market share has already BEEN declining the past decade. (And there is an argument/theory that the kind of "engage SJW" stuff is more a SYMPTOM of an already declining {desperate} product/brand than it is just a CAUSE of such -- it creates a nice scapegoat for the management to use as "cover" for their own incompetence -- they get to simultaneously claim "virtue signalling" credit and shift the blame {customers are BIGOTS/marketing research people are at fault, etc}).

Charmin gives me dingle berries. I like my toilet paper to not disintegrate like spiderman as it forms clumps around my ahole when I'm wiping my butt. Good thing is that some of the cheaper tp while slightly rougher, do not give me dingle berries.

About 10%. Gillette does about 6.5B. P&G does 65B.

Wait until March to see their reported earnings vs expected. That will be the real test.
Side note: Many people aren't really aware of how much of a conglomerate Procter & Gamble actually is. Unless your average person has a cheat sheet of what NOT to buy you can very easily accidentally purchase their products. I will be doing my damnedest to make sure they feel some reprecussions that's for damn sure.
