Like to make it clear. This isnt me. I found this on another sub as it shows in the picture it's a totally different redditor guys lol
But congratulations to him for his freedom!

Okay.. A new redpill for me today.
Divorced and without your kids is something to celebrate - because the wife is that insane. Then there's the legal battle of custody which will surely rape his soul as the wife will make false abuse allegations (we've seen it all before. We know it'll happen) and he will be outcast from society.
And this guy will have to be strong enough not to kill himself through all of this. Fuck all of this! I'm gonna learn from this guys mistakes.

Abuse accusations are pretty much standard fare in these proceedings. No tactic is too underhanded when it comes to a mother keeping control hold of her meal tickets children.

Natural caregivers amiright?

I am not mgtow. My ex cried abuse and the women's shelter she was staying at threw her out with our child because she lied after only 2 days.
Sorry to hear that. Hope you get custody of your kid somehow.

.............my spidey sense is tingling here.
I am sure this COULD happen EVENTUALLY but if this is not a lie then there is AT LEAST more to the story here.

Yes, the easy part was the divorce. The 8 years after fighting for the kids was tough.
[–]guilhermefdias2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I've just watched Marriage Story.
Holy shit, amazing acting... but the movie itself gave me some clear message of all this shit I can avoid.
[–]Hawgster30 points31 points32 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
2 years after divorce I'm still not where I want to be mentally. Maybe it's because she cheated on me and how everything went down. Mainly its because I miss my kids everyday and know their step dad is so mean to them.

Dealing with a massengill who has access to your kids is the worst. My kid is grown now but I still want to eviscerate that punk.
[–]foolishghost22 points23 points24 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Good on you, mate! Happier times await.

Honestly. If he’s really going after his kids, he needs to shave.
I used to work in court constantly. There are 4 rules to being successful in court.
1) Hire an attorney.
2) Show up on time.
3) Dress like you’re at court. There’s very serious shit happening in the courtroom. You need to act like it.
4) Groom yourself.
4 is very important. I don’t care if you run around with a man bun and a duck dynasty beard. Shave your face and get rid of the man bun. That means cut your hair that week, shave, and take a shower that morning.
How you look in court matters.
I worked in circuit court all the time. You may think that you shouldn’t have to cut your hair or shave just for court. YOU DO!
You have to look at court like the judge and prosecutor. They’re used to dealing with criminals day in and day out. You know who don’t groom themselves? Have shitty facial hair and don’t shower regularly? Dirt balls, criminals, and people with mental illness. You don’t want to be lumped in with any of these damn people.
If you go to court, you’re supposed to show up, shine up, and shut up. People probably figure, “why should I shave my beard or cut my hair for just one day?” Well, that one day, and really, it’s just 30 minutes out of that one day, it often decides the next chapter of your life.
You look at it like before court and after court. You either went to prison or you got probation. You either got your kids... or you didn’t.
It’s worth shaving.
[–]SpartanMonkChaos0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Won’t disagree on grooming in general, but the vast majority of family law cased are self represented. So your experience is anecdotal at best.
[–]Citadel_97E15 points16 points17 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Definitely not anecdotal. I’ve got years of experience in general sessions court. Maybe .5% of people are actually pro se.
Holy shit. If you’re representing yourself in court, you’re doing it wrong. Attorneys have a saying “if you’re an attorney and you’re representing yourself, you have a fool for a client.”
Also, my experience, is in circuit court/general sessions. That’s what they call criminal court in my state. You can represent yourself, but the judge essentially doesn’t allow it. If you’re there alone they continue the case and give you more time to get a lawyer. The only person I’ve ever seen actually go “pro se” was one of those weirdo moorish aboriginal akabar bey el said morons. They was truly amazing to watch.
I’ve seen The Court assign public defenders on the spot. They’ll say “Public Deffender Bob, you’ve got 20 minutes to look at Idiot Defendant’s case and represent him.”
No one, and I mean no one should pre representing themselves in court. This is especially true in criminal and family court.
Another big tip. Many attorneys and firms give free consultations. Go consult with the good divorce lawyers in your area. Even if it means you can’t afford that 10,000 retainer. You pay 150 for the consultation, even if it isn’t free. What you did was you denied your opponent that attorneys representation.
If your prey goes to ground, leave no ground to go to. Or, more precisely, leave your prey only the ground you want them to go to. Consult with the good attorneys and hire one of them. And leave the stupid shitty ones. It works.
Move quickly, silently, and go for the fucking throat, men.
[–]SpartanMonkChaos-1 points0 points1 point 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I think you’re oblivious. Family court isn’t criminal court. There is a huge distinction. Family Court is the wild Wild West. However, my point rings true. Look at the docket in any metropolitan area family court. What you’ll find is the vast majority are self represented. So you’re “criminal court” point is moot. In criminal court you get at the minimum a public defender. Also, self representation isn’t unheard of. The rules of evidence are typically the hardest thing to understand and apply.
Sure, consultations are a thing. But at the end of the day, rules of the court, family code, family law facilitators are a thing that can be researched applied and put into pleadings.
I was pro per, against a fairly expensive attorney. I did just fine, and if am quite good with the final judgement. What your forgetting and glossing over is the system exists to perpetuate itself. I had an attorney for the first hearing, then promptly fired him. Easy day. I handled discovery, evidentiary, and any other matters.
I’ll say it again, criminal court isn’t family court. There is a huge difference. Go sit in and watch a docket and cattle call sometime and I bet you’ll come away with a completely different viewpoint.

This is the reason I have half custody. Ex died hair purple looked crazy. I had classy haircut clean shaven Oxford look. Quit the contrast
[–]Citadel_97E1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yeah. I’ll tell you a true story.
I sat in court one day. I used to do this a lot because I was a court agent half the time. Well there was this case. Dude was driving down the road. Hits SOMETHING. He gets out, looks around. Figured fuck it. He didn’t see anything and it was raining hard. So he gets into his car and boogies on.
Well he hit a girl in the road. Girl went flying into the ditch like 10 feet away. He was doing like 45mph in pouring down rain. Honestly this could have happened to you, me, anybody.
Well, the girl he hit, he couldn’t see when he checked. (She was in the ditch). And she also died.
So he got like 30 years. Know what he looked like in court? His suit was a thug suit. It looked like a suit you would see in a rap video. He had dredds, face tattoos and those idiot notches in his eyebrows.
He might as well have been wearing a sign that said “SEND ME TO JAIL.”
What he should have done is going to Joseph A Banks and a get a simple suit and tie. He then should have cut his hair, put concealer on his face tattoos and let his eyebrows grow out.
If you look like a scumbag people will treat you like a scumbag.
You going for a clean cut look saved you a lot of heartburn. For women to have their appearance work against them, they practically have to show up with a needle in their arm and a hot little crack pipe in their mouth.

[–]TruePolarWanderer11 points12 points13 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
If any of your kids would prefer to live with you you might want to look into paying for a court-appointed child advocate so the ex wifes attorney is arguing with a representative other than yourself

same guy would have called you an incel if you warned him before
THIS..is why i have very little sympathy for these people.
[–]__TheDon__2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Hate to be that guy, but I highly doubt he’s getting his kids. A mother can be a crack whore and still get custody of the children over a normal man.
