Back in high school, circa 1985, we had a guy do an elaborate promposal. So he got up early one morning and set up all these signs. He proceeds to put them all along her route to school. There's absolutely no way she didn't see them. I mean these fuckers were huge and neon green with black letters. At the end he was standing by the school drive in a tux with flowers.
She drove by, claimed she didn't see the signs, and went to prom with another dude.
