Neither. I'm a centrist, which oddly gets me a lot of flak. It's seems liking being a centrist is considered even worse then being on one side or the other... I'll never understand it.

Socially left. To a point. I don't give a fuck what you do as long as you don't affect anyone else negatively. Financially conservative. Keep spending under control, encourage small business and individuals to make money, small taxes, small government.

Some stuff works, some stuff doesn't.

In pretty much most of the western world, public-funded mixed health care systems seem to work. So I think it's a good thing. That would brand me on the left side of the isle.

On the other hand, I do believe in being selective about immigration and refugees which would brand me on the right side of the isle.

Overall, I probably lean slightly right of center but frankly, does it matter so much?

Authoritian Conservative; all animals need leashes. The only way in my view to repair western society is to go from a "tolerant" society to a no-tolerance society.

Conservative wise; Free market stuff, flat to no taxes, only vote if you own property/pay tax/own a business etc. Small government that monitors transparent organisations and businesses and enforces natural business laws: makes sure everyone is playing fair but doesn't decide who wins and who losses. No subsidisation or fiscal powers outside of enforcing laws.

Authoritian wise;

You steal, you get stolen from. You murder, you get executed. You destroy private property, you pay to repair it. You destroy someone's life, you are left to rot. You are fully capable of contributing but don't want to? Fuck off. Abuse substances that make you a threat to others? Your arrested and fined on the spot.

Anyone that is arrested has to pay for their own expenses, if you can't oh well you shouldn't of committed a crime. In reality we wouldn't need prisons because we would just execute or deport criminals, therefore they wouldn't become a burden to the socially productive.

If you have a condition that stops you from being productive, in some degree you would be supported. Their would be enough capital in the market to allow entrepreneurship and investment opportunities for people to do something regardless of their positions in life.

Let people do what they want as long as it doesn't affect anyone else, hold people accountable for what they do.

So, a mix of ultra-conservatism, and libertarian.

In order to keep the ambitions of other states and societies with values other than our own away, we need a state with a strong military (conservative). Let people do what they want, but make them accountable for their own actions; legalize all drugs, but make people sign a waiver of liability and insurance, and tax the drugs, but regulate them so they don't have toxic impurities.

Voting should only be a right for people who have a stake in the country; tax payers only, with disqualification for people on welfare (no one should ever be able to vote themselves a raise).

For the love of god, term limits for all elected offices.

Systemic rework of the legal system and reassertion of constitutional values.

Etc etc.

With regards to economics a mixture but mainly on the right, a mixture for politics as well although the new trump right doesn't appeal to me due to trumps u turn on foreign policy and I generally dislike all politicians anyway mainstream or not.

I view the mainstream left-wing as spineless, castrated, lost, and subservient to the system, trying to ineffectually bandaid up a fuckin' critical injury. I view the entire right-wing as knee-jerk reaction and ignorance, making everything worse in every way and in full, dipshit sociopath fashion.

I've witnessed our domesticated culture become a fucking shitshow. It was always vile and oppressive to both men and women, now we are more atomized and conflicting than ever. This is not inevitable for humans, but it is inevitable for civilization, as civilization is inherently tyrannical and bound for collapse. We are meant to be wild, living in smaller numbers, tightly-knit, egalitarian, off the land, free. But that's where we are... the incunabula of collapse. Too many people consuming too many dwindling resources on a dying planet. Everyone (on the right and left) is frantic trying to figure out what's going on, nobody has the fucking balls to admit how fucked we are. The party of civilization is OVER. All of your transient ideologies, economics, governments, nations, flags, pet causes, consumerism, markets, religions, philosophies, technologies, obsessions, etc. are going out the fucking window. SJWs, MGTOW, the alt-right, all of this is but a subset of a subset of a subset of the madness of the beginnings of collapse of civilization. I wouldn't be surprised if a decent portion of it was manufactured (divide and conquer).

MGTOW is a good blow-off valve for hetero men regarding the frustrations of modern dating/gender (just as certain expressions of feminism are a blow-off valve for women). MGTOW points out many of the hypocrisies of modern women (there IS toxic feminine culture that shouldn't get a pass just because masculine culture is, perhaps more, toxic too), and a lot of the misbehavior that goes unexamined... but MGTOW hasn't come all that close to figuring everything out, mostly infiltrated by opportunistic and toxic right-wing elements that don't actually understand what's happening and why; let alone the proper solutions. There is a lot of one-sidedness here (and also in latest wave feminism) that tends to ignore the similar or identical experiences of the opposite gender. There are nuggets of truth within every camp (some more than others, some much more than others). I actually believe that SJWs are more tolerable than the alt-right, by far... but they, too, are so fucking full of irrational shit that I can't toe a decent portion of the ever-changing lines anymore; call-out culture has manufactured irrationality and sensitivities beyond the point of liberation and into some kind of disgusting groupthinking Puritan language policing; the alt-right is attempting to usher in a bizzaro proto-fascism. All of this must be neutralized and eradicated if it lasts too much longer.

As for romance, sex, dating... everyone's so fucked up (both sexes) from a dysfunctional everything, that having a healthy future in this regard is becoming increasingly hopeless. The next couple decades will decide if these growing pains will produce a more mature expression of the species or, instead, collapse and oblivion. My bet is that it'll be 15% the former, 85% the latter. Heed the mouse utopia experiment.

In any case the only thing that matters now is the biosphere and wilderness. All else is a disgusting mess, to me... save for the occasional peppering of truly beautiful, genius, visionary, and holistically engineered design, technology, aesthetics, society, art, etc.

Somewhat left, especially economically and I don't care about who immigrates to the USA so long as they follow the law. But also somewhat right, I hate feminism, I love free speech, gun rights and patriotism.

Independent, center left. Dont like the dems and positively despise the repugs. I believe in fiscal conservatism, personal responsibility and consequences for actions so differ from the left in those areas. I am pro-science, athiest, believe in free but regulated markets, progressive taxation and a "medicare for all" euro style health care system so am strongly opposed to the reich wingers.
