Women are not good or bad, they just are. But they need men to protect them from themselves and that is something that men for the last 60-70 years have been failing at miserably.

There's significant selection pressure against good men (women choosing bad men)

There's some selection pressure against very violent men (society vs individual and evidence of self domestication)

There's little selection pressure against female behavior unless very extreme.

Any good behavior of women is largely irrelevant from an evolutionary perspective, like being gay.
