I will admit that chick is very cute but not worth the heartache.
Its funny though. When she was a CC rider then everyone was defending her by saying "Oh she is having fun" while in the same breath telling you to grow up.

Except that land, like a woman, is never actually yours. Real estate tax is RENT, and if you don't pay the rent, the landlord sends a deputy to evict you. Also, the little county mutant in the car labeled "Code Enforcement" will come tell you what you have to do to maintain the rental property to the landlord's standards. That Deed for the property lists you as Tenant. All you "own" is a financial interest in the house and land.

No, in situations like that it's only yours until the government changes the rules to take it back from you - which they are already doing in South Africa. The government always owns the land because they can always change the laws and we're left holding the bag.

That reminds me about a GRE test that I had to take. The topic was about justice and power. Justice is useless without power to uphold it. The way you said about land ownership is right on the money. The same with the house that you think you own. If you don't pay your taxes, then your so called "properties" can be taken away from you. So you don't own it because you as an individual lack the power to defend it.
Of course in a corrupt government they can just take your land regardless. In shitty communist countries like Viet Nam, the communist government can just take away your land with little to no reason at all. They make up some b.s. about the need of the state and take away your land without just compensation.
What I envision the ultimate MGTOW would be an individual possessing god like powers that guarantee his autonomy and self-sovereignty. No government or individual can threat his freedom. Before anyone saying, "absolute power corrupts absolutely." I say to them well it's a double-edge sword.

I'm personally never buying a house, just gonna rent for the rest of my life.
People say "oh but then you'll never actually own anything" well so? I wouldn't own that house anyway, I'm ultimately a slave to the bank so long as I live on the grid and they can take it from me in a heartbeat. I don't even own my car, I just play into the system's game so they make me think I own it but in reality they can snatch it from me the moment I don't have insurance or registration.
