Sales jobs teach you to talk to people.

Money Management

Time management

Physical fitness

I’d recommend seeing a male counselor if you have any mental/emotional issues.

I’d also recommend one physical hobby/sport (Basketball is a good one you can play solo)

One skill based hobby (darts,bowling,pool)

One mental hobby (reading,video games, puzzles)

If you can master those things you will feel fulfilled.

Depends on what you do on a daily basis. If you use computers and the Internet in general a lot, I would highly suggest learning some coding, even just something as simple as a scripting language like Auto-Hotkey. You can automate a shit ton of stuff with not that much work, it can be very satisfying as well.

Basic Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry & Woodworking (+ Finishing); then various "mechanic" skills (basic maintenance stuff like checking/changing oil & other fluids, tires, etc -- bonus if you learn good diagnostics -- not just cars but all kinds of "small engine" stuff); bit of metalworking (especially welding) never hurt either...

And then of course "digital" stuff... learn to code; and at the very least become a master of manipulating numbers & other data in spreadsheets and databases, etc; work with images & various kinds of "CAD" programs... and so on.

Cut your own hair. I suggest the Wahl Peanut, it will pay for itself after a few uses.

Use a safety razor, it’s cheaper and works better than jillette.

Learn a second language. It’s proven to grow new connections in your brain that improve memory and decrease your risk of Alzheimers. If there’s a country with lower taxes and better laws, why not learn the local language and go exploring. It opens business opportunities as well.

I have to agree with everyone that said cooking. That can save money.

Why limiting to skills acquired after going your own way?

here's my long list of skills that anyone and everyone should have, yes man and women and all genders alike:

learn/develop critical thinking skills
personal finances
develop your career
lift heavy shit and fix your diet
learn how to cook/prepare meals for yourself: healthy, inexpensive and quick
learn to play an instrument, I suggest acoustic guitar, inexpensive (into guitar is about $100 and free lesson at justinguitar.com), portable, and fun
read (books)
write daily in a blog on a special Reddit account, write whatever, it helps with the critical thinking
Problem-solving skills: related to critical thinking: life is nothing more than a series of problems waiting to be solved
Project Management Skills: life is nothing more than a series or programs and projects that need to me handled and managed; some are boring (e.g.: personal finances tasks) and you want to be as efficient as possible; and some are exciting (e.g.: vacations) and you want to maximize outcomes.
learn to DGAF/ignore the shit that doesn't matter (e.g.: Social Media) so you can dedicate time and resources (giving a lot of fucks) to the shit that matters (e.g: this list). You're the
proper use of it's/its; they / their / they're/ etc.....

That's a good start, there's more.
