So get this...

Took an Uber home tonight...

Driver was talking about the kinds of riders he's had. We talked about the late night riders, the zero hour demographics... he mentioned it's mostly people coming home from late-night bars/clubs, and early-risers heading to the airport... but there's another considerable proportion composed of those who are sneaking home from an affair...

I asked him, "Whoa, you serious, does that happen often??"

He says, "Oh yeah, people be sneakin' home, trying to slip their wedding rings back on in the back seat"

I respond, "Wow... So let me ask you... of all the people sneaking home after fucking around, is it mostly men or women?"

He says, "You'd actually be surprised, it's ironic because it's mostly the females comin' home saying 'Omg, what did I just do! I can't believe I just did that...' trying to conjure up excuses as they sneak back home to their spouses."

I was actually expecting him to say men, to be honest... but this is yet another, albeit limited and anecdotal, account of the lack of fidelity in women and how they play dumbfounded and manufacture excuses afterwards.

A mini-cab is mostly the same as a taxi but with different licencing laws. They can't stop to pick up fares that flag them down or wait at taxi ranks to pick up casual passengers or use bus lanes, you have to phone up for them and create a verbal contract. Basically they are a poor mans limo hire and probably more common (outside of large cities) inj the UK than taxis are.

I drove one for a few years back in the early 90s and I've always joked since then that a young single man that is having trouble getting laid should do that for a living.

It's a job where you see all walks of life, from the people that can throw money around to the dregs of society, but most of the customers are just ordinary people. With it being a small town you quickly get to know the people in the town especially the ones who are out drinking and clubbing regularly.

For instance, I knew at least one married woman who went clubbing every week. She had serial affairs with what we now call chads. They were guys from the group that were fucking all the party girls. I never once met her husband, he wasn't a clubber. She'd go home with one of them a couple of hours before the club shut for a few weeks, then go home alone for a few weeks then she'd hook up with a new guy for a few weeks. She wouldn't ever talk to the driver and if any driver tried to start a conversation with her she'd assume they were trying to chat her up and shut them down at the first sentence no matter how innocent it was.

Pretty much every story you read in this sub, you can see first hand when you drive a cab (same will apply to uber). Low smv women willing to pay for cheap taxi fares with sex. High smv women thinking they can can get a ride for free. Women assuming that a guy trying to initiate a conversation is trying to get into their pants. Women that casually offer sex to the driver because they are drunk and haven't pulled that night. Women flirting with the driver while their man is in the car with them. You name it. you will see it if you drive a cab.

Maybe it's worse now than it was back then but personally I think it's just better known now as the stories get shared on the internet and aren't just a running joke between the people that know.

Another story involves a young couple. 18 years old. Both really nice kids. Typical 90s party kids. I was their favourite driver and they'd always ask if I was available to take them from his parents large house in the country to the club in the next town along, and then pick them up again at the end of the night.

He was a nice guy, a college student, friendly and a little quiet, slightly hippyish, reasonably good looking and from a family with money. She was petite, blond, pretty, talkative and friendly, with tight young body and always wore cloths that would make you bite your knuckles when she went clubbing. Her parents house was an average 3-bed in a nice village.

They both loved clubbing, they didn't drink alcohol but would always pop an E on the way to the club. After I'd been driving them for a few weeks they used to always try to get me to go clubbing with them. I was only 22 but I've never been one for the club/party scene so i always turned them down. For months they'd invite back to his parents house for a joint whenever his parents were away on business which was a lot of the time and I always turned that down too, until the day I decided to accept and knock off work early.

The house was big and really nicely furnished. We went up to his room , he had everything a kid could want, big TV, nice stereo , expensive guitar, game consoles, typical teenage stuff but in abundance. He rolled a joint and passed it around. I declined as I still had to drive 8 miles home on dark and windy country roads. Within 5 minutes he'd fallen asleep and I got up to leave but she didn't want me to go. She grabbed my hand and pulled me towards her giving me the big doe eyes and striking that not so innocent little girl pose. It was very clear where this was heading and it would be happening right there in the bed he was passed out in. I looked down at the guy passed out on his bed and thought to myself 'That poor guy, he's a really nice kid, she's a really nice girl. I can't do that to him'. So I left. I never got called to pick them up again. In fact I never saw either of them again. Bare in mind that I'm no Chad. It wasn't my looks or any alpha frame that made this happen. I'm 5'6". Average looking and I wasn't on the pull.

Yes it's only a handful of top 5% guys that regularly take a different girl round the back of the club to fuck her behind the dumpsters before going back into the club to find a different girl to leave with or they go home to their wife/girlfriend. Same few guys every week (and most of the doormen). The girls seem to be around for a couple of months until none of the Chads will touch her anymore and she gets replaced by the next eager beaver.

Next level down from that are the guys that sometimes manage to convince a girl to go home with him. There are a lot more of these 20% guys but as a rough estimate I'd say the entire bunch have less sex than the 5%ers. The conversation on their way home always has undertones that if he plays his cards right and satisfies her ego then she'll let him have sex. Lots of these guys slip up and try to talk to her as an equal partner in the game. More than once I've picked up a couple who ask to go to one address and ended up having to drop them off at separate addresses because the she changed her mind on the ride home. Surprisingly the women pay for that fare more often than the guys do.

Then there's the lower value men and women. They're out there every week. Plugging away at trying to attract a mate. The men are usually quiet on the way home. They don't look happy. Many of the women are the same but not all. A surprising percentage of them still see one more chance before they get back to their lonely home. The poor guy that's just trying to make a living working unsociable hours. The taxi/uber driver or the eastern europeans that run the late night kebab shops. There's plenty on offer for the thirsty guy with low standards.

Of course there are plenty of exceptions but they are the three stand-out groups.
