Listen, if your married or in an cohabiting or even Long Term [serious] Relationship... you're really NOT actually "MGTOW".

You may delude yourself into thinking that you are, that you've learned some of it's lessons and have become "master of your own fate" in that regard, and that no woman is "using" you or your resources... but you really (and I do mean really) are just deluding yourself: the reality of the woman you are hitched to will, some time or another, and probably in ways you don't even realize, end up with your testicles in her handbag (again).

Semi-tangentially I live in a sort of stealth mode and i'm wondering how many others of you are out there?

How many MGTOW's have girlfriends (or even wives) but are aware enough to benefit from some of it's ideals?

Depends on the "in group" of MGTOW you're looking for. The biggest group is divorced MGTOW, and most of them probably have a girlfriend or are looking for one. The second largest group are the MGTOW "Monks", which are either Forever Alone converts, divorce raped men, or the rare married MGTOW preparing for divorce and avoiding the missus. The third largest group are the MRM / PUA / Tradcon MGTOW, and most of these guys are probably actively pursuing relationships.

As for the Ghosting MGTOW, I don't know how many of those guys there are because they're "Ghosting" and probably don't have stable access to the internet because they're out in the woods or living out of vans / off grid residences. Same goes for the "Stealth Mode" or "Bunker Mode" MGTOW, who are too busy working on projects to waste time posting.

I'm not really a believer in /r/theredpill or any PUA stuff. It all sounds like a waste of effort.

It mostly is, but social skills can bump you up a point or two in Sexual Market Value.

The important factors in Male SMV are:

1) Money (Approx 65%)

2) Status (Approx 20%)

3) Genetics (Approx 10%)

4) PUA / Social Skills (Approx 5%)

The most important factors in Female SMV are:

1) Appearance (Approx 80%)

2) Age / Fertility / Promiscuity (Approx 15%)

3) Attitude / Social Skills (Approx 5%)

4) Wildcard: Wealth (Approx 100% for gold diggers)

Edit: Though, to be honest, I don't think percentages are the most accurate way to reflect SMV. SMV is multiplicative, and if you score 0 in any of those areas the end result is a zero. Which is why an attractive 9 or 10 can be a zero based on her Attitude / Social Skill or Age / Promiscuity.

interesting - girlfriend for social status, hookers for sex. As long as it's affordable for time & dollars that sounds interesting. Hopefully not a live-in girlfriend because if it is that will take immense manipulation/frame to keep her from just fucking with your life, especially if she's mad about there being a paid alternative to sex because she's unwilling.
