Have seen this scenario play out elsewhere.

Once she actually is pregnant she has even less reason to work. She will become a lazy slob and hog on spouse's money, getting fat because of "muh, pregnancy".

Then after baby is born, she will be a SAHM (Stay At Home Mom) requiring a nanny to do all the household chores, because it's just so difficult to vacuum once a week and to press the buttons on electric machines.

Best case scenario for spouse: Divorce rape. Otherwise stay with a greedy, lazy slob of a mom who will abuse everyone emotionally in family because she herself could never make it and is jealous of anyone who has success in anything in her vicinity.
