The thing about the friend zone is that it's not an appropriate term, since you won't actually be friends. What it is is she wants you around as a beta orbiter since she benefits from the attempts at love/dating like free meals and "good morning beautiful" texts (of which she's getting 15 other ones). You know that feeling of real friendship you have with another man? You NEVER get that in these cases.

I say to women who "friend zone" me, OK we can be friends. But I will treat you like a friend. It took me a while to realize that women will never be honest with you about this sort of topic. They will never allow you closure and it's really just a fucking vile thing to do.

Back in my simping days I had something like this happen to me, except she kept an opening (told me "if you wanna talk in person I understand"). So I said let's do it, and sure enough she ghosted. That's really when things hit me.

Saw her while I was out with some friends a week after and sure enough she had some simp next to her. A few weeks later, changed her profile picture to her and yet another dude all dressed up. That's when I blocked her from everything and later deleted her number.
