There is no simple solution. Suffered in a similar situation. Seven years into marriage and she jumped ship and left everything.

Filed for divorce in three days and left a very small town that week.

A good friend told me to just picture it as a funeral where the woman I married is no longer alive. The relationship is dead and she killed it by choice. Accept that truth.

Moved out to LA. Had to learn how to date and flirt all over again.

Sucked at first - not because of flirting, it was because I still was holding onto emotions of her, anniversaries, memories, and a shared life.

Put it in the ground, bury it. Have the funeral for the marriage.

Poor your energy and emotions into a physical outlet that is not sex. I started cycling and climbing hills out in Pasadena and got into good shape.

New women spent time with me because I was focused on building myself and rediscovering what I was passionate and good at.

Started casually dating again to determine if I even like the nature of women anymore.

Left the little town with nothing and had to build everything up from the beginning. It made me a better man.

My path is not yours, but it helped me and I hope it helps you.

After leaving LA, I gave another relationship a shot and took it seriously. Thought I would apply all the lessons I learned from the mistakes I made from getting married young.

She was a good girl and that's what I told myself. It ran it's course for three years. I had a medical setback that required me to take time off business. She ended the relationship after I got out from the hospital.

It's not you - it's the nature of women. I don't despise them for it, but I refuse to not see their nature for what it is.

Women wait at the finish line for the winner of the triathlon called life.

They will not run the race with you. They will not pick you up when you fall. They will never train with you.

It's your race, it's up to you to train hard and motivate yourself when you fall down to get back up.

Get back up!

Keep going your own way. It never gets any easier, just easier to see.

Fuck ten new women (pump n dump or hookers). That is the best therapy. NAWALTs turn to AWALTs in split seconds.

Been there, have the t-shirt.

I thought I had a NAWALT (Everyone does) until she monkey branched about 5 years ago (6 year relationship, 2 years married, no kids, no divorce rape). Later I had a FWB 16 years younger for 2 years (absolutely idealized me; until she didn’t) - cool until she wasn’t and she became toxic. Great sex; absolute hoe in bed - I miss that.

They have always been like this; since the dawn of time. Society kept them in check - now it condones this behaviour.

You just have to come to terms with it - it will take time.

1.) She’s not yours, it’s just your turn. 2.) AWALT.

I’m a social Red Pill. I don’t hate women; I just don’t trust them. I realize what they are and take reasonable precautions. I’m not perfect - I will develop a case of the feels but I set firm boundaries (no cohab, no procreation, no marriage). I’m willing to walk off the lot in 5 min if trouble starts.

Perhaps consider moving to a more populated city centre if work allows. Use Meetup to join social groups. Have little flings on the side. Try not to base your self worth on a chick you may or may not be with.

Focus on developing yourself for you.

So OP asked about therapy and advice, I'll try to answer that.

I saw a family therapist post-divorce, mostly because I needed coaching on how to deal with my BPD ex (we share kids). When you're with someone who's unwell, you literally compromise away your own mental & physical health. So now, make sure to regain them! For me it was good to look at my own patterning that dovetailed into being as blue pilled as I was. So there's a book out there, Facing Codependence or something, that was important to me. Now I am very clear on boundaries with EVERYONE and whenever I'm ready to split I just ghost my own way. I have friends, family, and my own set of hopeless orbiters, but as CiceroVoltaire taught me, non serviam. I lead, even if it's just my scouting party of one.
