There's a reason why they shame sluts in the past. If a child came from the product of an infidelity, then he/she will be a constant reminder of the betrayal by the woman. Also it will mentally mess with that child for years to come.

Imagine being born and being told that you're just an unwanted side effect of some infidelity. "Your birth is a symbol of your mother's betrayal. You came into being because some woman is a no good slut. You came from something unclean."
