i'm a porn producer, AMA. i can tell you that porn is mostly sold in US Canada and UK. its really not even a hot product in most of the normal world. try selling a playboy magazine in thailand, dominican republic, philippines etc... might only world if the chicks are blond on the cover (their particular fetish) but im saying, you don't see it widespread consumption outside of so called first world countries because girls behave much differently and have a different outlook on sex and life in general, esp buddhist countries where sex is not shamed, its just something neutral and normal.

I don't agree with bans on pornography, but I think you're remiss if you believe there is nothing wrong with it. Not that I don't watch it myself, but it's like alcohol. It's a poison that can be fine in certain amounts, probably would be better if you never did it, but not a big deal so long as you keep it in check.

I vehemently disagree when people say that interacting with vile media(not that all porn is overly vile) has no ill effects. Nixon had it right when he said we all know that interacting with great works heightens a man's character, but for some reason many believe interacting with the opposite doesn't lower it.

Porn can be useful as a release when you can't get it through other channels, but I wouldn't make the mistake of saying there is nothing wrong with porn.
