The one time I actually agree with FDS. Of course my idea and their idea of dying alone are two completely different realities. I want to die in peace with myself. They on the other hard treat it as the greatest failure.

Then again. When one no longer has a slave and has to do things themselves the world can seem unfair. While the liberated slave who no longer has to work for another will see a completely different reality. Both had each others "company" ... One loved it and one resented it. One wishes for solitude, one cannot even tolerate their own company.

Women who die alone, die* in poverty. That's why women fear dying alone so much. Men are about to work themselves much longer and can do shit that women can't at a much older age, hence why men in general don't see dying alone as something to fear. At least I don't see it as something to fear, I feel like even if I died with a woman, I'd still feel lonely because women can't really care about their man, I'd be ill treated and made to feel like a burden to her and it would only make my dying more painful and emotional than need be.

Dying alone and getting seriously sick alone sucks. It’s the only thing about my lifestyle that bothers me, just being honest about it.

That said, I’m not sure the last 0-10 years of life sucking warrants rolling the dice on a possible bad relationship.

We all die alone, majority of people ship their folks to a nursing home were they die one night...... Alone and old. It's creepy as hell to have people around you whilst you're dying imo.
