Yup. The other day I was thinking for about 30 seconds that maybe my life would be more interesting if I had a woman here living with me with all this isolation going on.
Then I realized that she would want to be visiting all her friends and bringing home the plague, which would be a source of constant argument. Now I get to be the bad guy enforcing the lockdown and Covid19 is all my fault.
Plus now I have to do 10x the grocery shopping when everything is out of stock. After all, while I don't mind picking the three things that are in stock and alternating between them every three days you know she is going to argue about having to eat the same three meals every time.
Plus I'm a fairly picky eater, which means she will be of zero help in meal prep. One thing I've found in relationships is that if she is going to do the cooking then she is going to give zero care about whether you actually like what she is making - and that is assuming you're dating somebody who can cook. I'm not even saying that this is entirely unreasonable, but why would I sign up for it?
So, basically having somebody else around during this mess is going to be like dragging around a 200lb dead weight that actively complains about everything all day long. I'll settle for chatting with people via text...

Funny you should mention sailing (I refuse to use that yachting word)...I lost a 30' sailboat to the divorce rape. She enjoyed it the first 2-3 yrs. As you said, she was able to lounge around on it and impress her friends. When I decided she needed to learn to help sail it too....interest lost. Last 4 yrs I was a solo sailor...much better imho.

...I sold it...at least i got half....and half the cars, half the house, half the 401k's and half my 30 yr pension. Keep in mind tho I made 80% of the family income...so I paid for 80% of these things. So goes western marriage and no fault divorce.

At least it was just half. Now days the man is left with almost nothing. My mom took everything but my Dad's truck and a medium sized duffle bag of clothes. He couldn't do his work as a handyman and custom furniture carpenter because she got the entirety of his work shop and the tools and machines in it. He had to borrow and fix replacements he dug up from scrapyards. He was homeless for over six months and still was forced to pay child support.

I was about to say this. They can't even stand it when a guy is minding his own business, just happy being himself. They gotta find ways to mess it all up. It's much worst if the guy has a talent. Like if he plays the guitar or if he's in a band then they will give the guy hell and try to make him quit because they are jealous of the attention he gets from other or that if he gets really famous he'll leave her for someone better. I've seen it happen to 2 friends of mine.

My favorite one? Buying yourself something that's relatively expensive. In the old days when physical media still dominated for instance, if you bought yourself a CD/DVD combo live performance by your favorite rock band, two things happened. If she didn't like the music, she'd make a face because she'd wish you bought something she likes. If she liked the music, at some point she would pester you to give it to her.

One of my last dates, the first date I said I would pay, and she ordered 2 pizzas, and other stuff, the bill came and was quite big and the worse was that she only ate 2 slices. I remember in my simp days I would play video games with this girl, and then once we got together, she never played with me again and would throw a hissy fit whenever I tried to play.
And every Sunday when all I wanted to do is sit down and relax and watch football, she would always want to go out and do something when she didn't want to do a damn thing the previous six days.
I know it's hard for many of us, looking back on our simp days after taking the red pill and realizing all the fundamental truths about women we were blind to or didn't want to see. Women hate it when the men they're with are happy.
