As a practicing Roman Catholic I was initially outraged by this, but then I quickly remembered the scripture "Father forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing".

They reason they are attacking the Vatican is because the Cardinals inside won't rush out, strip them (well... finish stripping them), rape them, and either stone to death or behead them.

Howeeeever, if they tried doing the same outside a moque using the koran... well... you can imagine they would not get away so easily.
