No, you must remain within the cameras focus for the entirety of the exam. Even pets must be contained, and background noise has to be reviewed before it will be accepted as noninterference. It's a pretty serious system, as shit as it actually is. But the full intent is to make as certain as they can that the person is not cheating.

It's an absolute shit way of going about exams, but that's the current thing that's in right now with online classes so if that's the type of school you go to you have to deal with it.
Yup. I applied to take some online uni courses and the first thing they send you was the technology requirements. You even have to have a tripod to mount the camera to get the "cheat" angles.
