Even in socialist countries, it's still a business, just a more corrupt and less efficient one. And I'd know, I live in Canada. The wait-times along make it absolutely worthless for anything beyond a common cold. Need a specialist? Enjoy your month / year long wait. Hope you don't die.
As far as the cost, it has little to do with the cost of employing doctors, much more to do with the FDA regulating drugs & the government regulating healthcare and health insurance. If you want low costs, like any market, you need price transparency and people need to pay out of pocket. Currently, everything is shrouded behind a veil of bureaucracy. Both in the hospitals themselves, and through insurance providers.
In a proper free market, I'd be able to purchase health insurance to cover only the most financially damaging of ailments. I'd be able to tailor my health package to precisely what I want. Obamacare saw to a quick end to consumer choice.
We spend so much money on our military so as to protect most of the world. This is why most other countries protected under our military umbrella can virtue signal about having such a small military budget. Good for you. That's only possible because of us. You're welcome.

It's called a generality. It means that more often than not, something holds true. More often than not, people who eat healthy and exercise are sick less and require less care.
And yes, saying "that's not always the case" IS only one example of how that statement can be not true. When you speak in generalities, you have to give general counterexamples... we are speaking in plurals.
I don't say "people who eat healthy and exercise are sick less" (a generality) and you go "but what about Tommy and Billy and Susie" (singular examples). Adding onto this, it would help if doctors don't have to spend so much on insurance to protect them against frivolous lawsuits.The average cost of seeing a General Practitioner in the States, can be anywhere from $50-200 for consultancy without medication if you're uninsured. In places like Singapore I've visited, I've paid as little as USD $56 for consultancy plus three types of medication including antibiotics without travel insurance.

Yes they can. Large operation decisions are usually made in insurance decisions. Small stuff is handled at clinics or specific hospitals. You have to think a little outside the current box to see how freedom solves this issue.

lol, I don't know about Canada but in Australia I've never failed to get a same day appointment for a regular doctor or more than a couple of weeks for a specialist.
A specialist will be found for you the same day too if it's urgent.

There hasn't been any major war from any non-shit-tier countries since WW2. No european is going to fight any other, because it all depends on 2 factos: Who the US sides with and who Russia sides with. If we pick opposite side, it's ww3 with nukes. Everyone loses. If they both pick one side, then the opposition is crushed completely. If one abstains, the opposition gets crushed. I'm not pro war in the least. I don't even kill spiders or flies, I believe ALL life has a right to keep going. Well, if you are complaining about taxes used for health care and social services, no worries there. Your taxes aren't being used for that.
It's very old information, goes back to David Stockdale's OMB report from the Reagan years, but all, and I mean ALL your taxes is going to pay the INTEREST on local, state, and fed debt, money borrowed by government. Not one red cent is going to pay for schools, health care, welfare or anything. The money that pays for all of that is printed out of thin air by private banking families and loaned to government via the fractional reserve banking racket.
It costs these families nothing to tap a few keyboards to create this fictitious money, it is all sanctioned by law (federal reserve act), it costs them the same to print one trillion as is it does to print one cent, which is to say nothing, because the money is created out of nothing (that's why the money supply keeps increasing, where is all this excess money coming from? From thin air). So welfare, health care and all the rest of it costs nothing. All these banker families care about is getting the interest payments via your taxes, which is their way of extracting YOUR time and productivity to direct benefit them. The only reason they print the money for the free shit army is because the system is inherently unstable, they are throwing out scraps and chicken bones to the rabble to keep the pitchforks and torches from coming out and toppling their lucrative racket completely. But the money for those gimmedats isn't coming from your taxes.

Healthcare being insanely expensive is unique to America and the reasons are probably unique too.
There's a much more reasonable and rational take.
Ok, not to get too in depth, but there are a couple of factors unique to the American system that have caused the healthcare crisis.
One of the biggest is healthcare lobbyists enacting legislation that has crippled any competition in the market.
Ok, you say... Well then let's go single payer. While that would actually improve the system in the short term, in the longer term it would be a disaster to a system this large, with this many disparate people, especially given that there is no way without campaign contribution reform that the American people would come out on top.
Basically, we're in a no man's land between free market forces and single payer and the lobbyists are ensuring the costs continue to skyrocket and no one says boo.
At some point, we are going to have to decide single payer or return to free market. I'm obviously in favor of free market because I can actually remember when health insurance wasn't even a thought in the monthly budget for my parents and flash forward... with every new regulation, I can barely afford to keep my kids covered.
But even single payer would be better than this at least temporarily.

I'm not sure if you are trying to show it as a womans fault. But overall man and woman almost all are the same about money and their earnings. No one will want to share their money with someone else. I'm a diabetic and I'm using insulin too. Because of my need for things like insulin and strips etc I can't afford to buy things that I want like a camera for film making. I'm doing all I can to buy a camera like saving and thats not enough. But well lets be realistic there is no one to blame for that. We can't blame celebrities or rich people how they spend their money. We have to do or buy everything that we need within our power. We can't criticize people for how they spend their money. If they do a favor all we can do is show some appriciation. But thats pretty unlikely.

Sounds about right to me. In my country...third world shitty South Africa, you go to a government hospital and they give you free healthcare, if you unemployed you do not pay a cent. Diabetics go there just for this purpose.

My friend in America dad died from dieabitis...guess why? His wife who was a Nurse ironically couldnt even get him the help he needed. She died of cancer shortly afterwards.
When I lived in South Florida, they wanted to charge me 200$ it have stiches taken out of my head. When I cut up my foot on barnacles..(I fell of a dock) They charged me 25 000 for 4 hours in the hospital, while they x-rayed the cut, cleaned it out and stiched it up.
