One thing I know about women is they do not like breaking up with guys. They know they might regret it, if the guy just walked away.

What women do instead is they get you to break up with them. Their attitude becomes extremely bad, they will cheat, they will throw up ultimatums knowing you will pick the latter. They act extremely resentful in order to recieve a response.

When you break up with her, she knows she has the upperhand so she just walks away. I found a deadly cycle in relationships for example, she gives you shit + you break up + then the attractive spike of you not giving a crap stimulates her responses, she then wants to come back + treats you like crap again and the cycle keeps going on and on. Some weak men are in this stage for years with no sex (usually guys in their 50s) it can also happen in teens/early 20s when the guy has no other options.

Do not ever follow the logic of a woman, she'll lead you into insanity. Instead, follow her actions and you will be led to the truth.
