He's nearly singlehandedly started a whole subgenre of middle aged blowhards with headsets and whiteboards. That's something. His content always comes back to tradcon + NAWALT + "come on, guys". Lots of it is regurgitated from elsewhere and the good parts are not original and the original parts are not good.

I like that he exists, but he is a bit over the top. He genuinely believes anarchy is possible and that it won't lead to gang warfare and tribalism.

I agree with him on a lot of things but him having a desire for every man (esp. white men) to get married despite all the marriage stats. Don't know why he gives a fuck about our evermore twisted society as we currently know it.

Well, I said it before; Molyneux is a pseudo philosopher. He doesn't actually have a degree in philosophy. It often shows. His own book on ethics doesn't really cut the mustard. It's written like the author is more of an enthusiastic hobbyist than a professional philosopher. Nothing wrong with that per say, but it's worth keeping in mind. I'd take a lot of what he says with a grain of salt.

The worst part in my opinion is, that he seems to be very influential with young people and he lives off of donations. I think young people have it hard enough already, they shouldn't have to donate their money to some middle aged ”philosopher” for advice.

Because he lives off of donations and MGTOW /Red Pill has become more popular, he has now started talking about these topics as well. Mainly just to get more viewers and to promote his tradcon lifestyle. This is the worst possible advice for many young men today in the west: ”Go get your NAWALT! And produce many white children for the state” - Yeah some anarcho capitalist he is, but I digress. (And that's what children are today essentially; Resource of the state.) ”Go put your head in a chopping block. This time it will be different. Do it for the western civilization and all that!”

Furthermore; Anarcho capitalism and voluntarism might be great values to live by individually, but Stephan really shouldn't act as if philosophers as a collective have now all agreed that these are the best values possible. I mean there is still debate going on, as it has been going on for over 2500 years.

I like listening to him sometimes, he has an interesting and dynamic persona, but he can have some insane opinions.

He once gave advice to a guy who was holding off fucking a hot girl with a bunch of issues to go ahead and fuck her. He also told a woman who was in impossible amounts of debt that it was her "job" to go out and get married so she would be able to off load the debt on her future husband.

I sometimes thinks he doesn't believe half of what he says and likes to cruelly manipulate people into situations that will be very bad for them (maybe because he is married himself and is projecting his pain outwards?)

Decent IQ and content, though also quite ideological. It is rather amazing how he can blame every problem on the government or childhood trauma. He is wrong on anarcho-capitalism (it would create a hellhole with worse rulers) and overstates the effect of parenting style (twin studies strongly indicate that). Too verbose. I'd prefer him to spend more time doing less videos.

It's such a bizarre leap that it makes it hard for me to buy into his other stuff that I agree with.

a modern day philosopher, who wants the world to be a better place, and for sociopaths to become extinct so we can have a free society full of people who choose love and freedom rather than hate and slavery.

i learned a lot from him in my teen years and it's shaped me to be a better person than i would have been simply digesting the poison a lot of the douchebags on the red pill try to feed me.
