A friend of mine knows a guy whose step-daughter (haha crazy) recently died of an overdose and how her friends or family were displaying images of her on Facebook as a kind of tribute.

He went on to say how he was shocked at the trashy content of the images — twerking, kissing other girls in drunken revelry, other provocative poses. i feel really weird about this.

i dont care if someone does sex work, i mean i watch porn every now and again and i love it when girls send me nudes. so im 100% not against it.

but on the other hand therws sthis big movement that says we shouldnt objectify woman, while they are objectifying themselves by selling their nudes online. and they just dont see it. it even got me banned for 30 days on r/unpopularopinion cause apperently they wont allow unpopular opinions...

i had discussions about this and it always boils down to, "theyr not objectifying themselves theyr empowering themselves"
